Strategic Account Executive – Boeing Global Business
Location: Alexandria, VA (preferred), Seattle, WA, or St Louis, MO (Hybrid)
Must be a US citizen with an active Federal clearance or the ability to obtain one
Target Domain: Defense, Commercial Air, Space & Security, Autonomous Systems, and Advanced Manufacturing
@Orchard is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for a major client that has developed technology that solves the fundamental digital infrastructure problems that hold organizations back. Our client eliminates the need for expensive, multi-year "rip-and-replace" efforts or fragile, custom-integrated solutions. They provide the only platform designed to unify edge computing, trusted AI, zero-trust cybersecurity, and resilient networking into a single, deployable environment. Our client is not another systems integrator, consulting firm, or point-solution vendor selling private 5G, cloud, edge AI, or communications. Put simply, they solve digital infrastructure problems differently.
As the Strategic Account Executive for Boeing, you will own our client's #1 account globally. An account where proven use-cases already exist, and the client is already committed to the growth and success of the mission. This is not about selling a vertical solution or pitching a product set. Your job is to diagnose Boeing's systemic infrastructure bottlenecks and partner with executives across all business units to solve them using our client’s unique platform.
Boeing operates at the outer limit of operational complexity and frequently encounters digital infrastructure roadblocks:

Operational Technology (OT) networks that are isolated from IT environments.
Modernization initiatives stalled in complex, multi-vendor integration.
Mission-critical software and AI applications that cannot execute at the tactical edge due to degraded, contested, or legacy networking environments.

By meeting these challenges head-on with credibility and understanding, you will integrate our client into every aspect of the Boeing mission. This is Solutions Selling at the highest level – you will need to have a technical depth of knowledge across hardware, software, communications, and cybersecurity to diagnose issues and opportunities at the enterprise level and then articulate those issues to the client’s engineering and solutions team, to bring the solution back to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Engagement & Account Leadership

Serve as the one client voice to Boeing, building trusted-advisor relationships across all Boeing divisions. Partner with executive leaders, VP-level Engineering and Operations leads, Program Managers, and Enterprise IT/OT Architects across the company.
Map Boeing’s top strategic initiatives (e.g., Factory of the Future, CJADC2 alignment, Agile Combat Employment, flightline digitizing, autonomous platforms) directly to our client’s value proposition.
Navigate Boeing’s complex procurement, vendor, and program execution structures with agility.

2. Value-Based Solution Discovery & Commercial Ownership

Execute the core sales methodology: identify the operational problem, isolate the underlying infrastructure failure, establish the business outcome, and lead the commercial path.
Frame customer needs through our client’s Three Core Situations:

Unresolved Infrastructure Problems: Unlocking environments where legacy tech, vendors, and custom integration have failed to produce required outcomes.
Accelerated Capability Deployment: Enabling rapid deployment of new AI, sensor, or command capabilities without long integration cycles.
Resilient Coexistence: Positioning our client as an independent, secure, and surviving infrastructure layer operating seamlessly alongside primary networks.

3. Cross-Functional Leadership & Orchestration

Lead the cross-departmental engagement lifecycle:

Solution Engineering: Co-design tailored service configurations (Access, Device Anchors, Extenders, Control).
Proof of Concept (PoC): Oversee targeted, outcome-driven validations that prove technical and operational value fast.
Customer Success & Field Operations: Partner with FSRs and Account Management to drive post-onboarding expansion and land-and-expand revenue strategies.

Act as the key "Voice of Boeing" internally, feeding intelligence to Product, Marketing, and Leadership to continually refine GTM strategy and product roadmaps.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile
Industry & Domain Expertise

10+ years of enterprise/defense solution sales experience with a proven track record of managing and expanding multi-million-dollar accounts within Boeing (preferably), or major Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Prime Contractors (e.g., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon).
Deep structural understanding of Boeing’s business units (BDS, BCA, BGS, Phantom Works), key leaders, and how technology moves from advanced R&D to programs of record.
Conversant in modern A&D operational challenges: OT/IT convergence, Edge Computing, Tactical C4ISR, JADC2, Modern Flightline Operations, and Supply Chain Digitization.

Technical & Narrative Credibility

High technical fluency: Able to credibly lead high-level architectural discussions surrounding edge computing, private wireless (5G/LTE), mesh networking, cybersecurity, and edge AI deployment.
Develop fluency in positioning our client as a ground-up platform differentiator—not a consultancy or systems integrator.
Master the narrative of how operates alongside existing investments, avoiding the “rip and replace” nightmare.

Professional & Leadership Mindset

Consultative Challenger: Comfortable pushing back on entrenched IT/OT assumptions, asking deep diagnostic questions, and leading clients to see their infrastructure challenges in a new light.
Solution selling: Able to diagnose challenges, apply client capabilities to building a rapid, easily deployable solution to solve the most pressing challenges of the client. Identify, Penetrate, Deliver, Radiate.

Education and Background.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration, or related. Master’s degree is preferred.
Previous experience with Boeing technology through civilian or military service is preferred.
Active clearance preferred - must be eligible for a clearance (US citizen).

Why Join our client?

Category-Defining Technology: Sell a platform that solves fundamental digital infrastructure problems rather than competing in crowded feature-for-feature point-solution battles.
Impact: Help shape the future of mission-critical defense, manufacturing, and operational technology for one of the largest aerospace companies in the world.
Direct Executive Visibility: You will directly own our highest-profile, highest-value strategic account.

Compensation: Will be based on experience and qualifications, with an anticipated 70/30 split between the base salary and commission, but with no commission ceiling. The expected OTE for the role is around $300K. Our client offers competitive benefits, and this role will qualify for LTI.

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Clearance required

@Orchard LLC is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to be the Lead Identity & Security Developer and to join a specialized 5-person product team. Your job is to build the security DNA of our product from scratch—writing the Python code that allows autonomous agents to navigate sensitive data pipelines securely.

Our client is inventing a new class of AI-driven data integration platforms. They use multi-agent systems to automate mission-critical workflows for government and enterprise applications.

Abou the role: Build, Don’t Just Configure
This is a pure backend engineering role. You will be the resident expert on authentication and authorization systems within the product codebase. You will bridge the gap between internal product security and the platform environment it runs on, ensuring that when a platform engineer deploys our tool, it is "secure by design."

Key focuses include:

Architecting from Scratch: Building an authentication/authorization system within our tool (think: building the functionality of KeyCloak into the product).
Fine-Grained Control: Managing user roles, groups, permissions, and pass-through credentials for both human users and AI agents.
Integration: Engineering seamless handshakes with external systems like Active Directory, IAM, and SSO providers.

Tool Agnostic: You are familiar with the "Identity Stack" (Vault, KeyCloak, AWS IAM, Azure Key Vault) but prefer writing code to solve problems.
Clearance Ready: You are a U.S. Citizen. While an active clearance isn't required to start, you’re excited by the opportunity to engage with classified systems and debug in high-security environments.

Why Join Us?

High Impact: You are the Lead for Identity on a tight-knit team of five. Your architectural decisions will define the security posture of our AI platform.
True Remote Culture: Work from anywhere in the U.S.
High-Touch Hiring: We’ve had false starts before, so we’re doing things differently. If the initial phone interview goes well, we will fly you in to meet the whole team in person. We want to ensure we're the right fit for you, and you're the right fit for us.

Your background and qualifications

4+ years of backend engineering with a focus on Auth/Identity.
Expertise in Python and API design.
Deep knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and SSO.
Experience with multi-tenant application design and tenant isolation.
U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance eligibility).

Desired Qualifications

Experience building or integrating authorization frameworks or policy engines. (e.g., OPA, Cedar, Zanzibar-inspired systems)
Experience designing authorization for dynamic systems. (e.g., agent-based systems, workflow engines, or plugin architectures)
Experience implementing relationship-based or context-aware access control models.
Experience supporting on-prem or air-gapped deployments.
Experience with enterprise identity integrations in complex environments.
Experience working in high-assurance or regulated environments.
Familiarity with secrets management tools. (e.g., Vault)
Exposure to compliance frameworks. (SOC2, FedRAMP, etc.)
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
Active security clearance

Compensation: The compensation for this role is based on a number of factors, primarily your credentials, experience and demonstrated capabilities. The base salary is expected to be the in the range $145,000 – $155,000.

Interview process; what to expect. While this is a remote role within the United States we value meeting our team members. Therefore, in addition to a video technical screen, you can expect to be required to come meet with the team in Northern Virginia, if selected for the latter stages of the interview process. We believe meeting in person is a critical step in ensuring cohesion, even for remote teams.

@Orchard LLC is supporting a leader in secure communications systems for the most challenging environments. Our client (SEMPRE) believes that life depends on communication. They are a team of engineers and entrepreneurs dedicated to one mission: protecting, connecting, and securing communication so life runs uninterrupted—even on our nation's "worst day." As a Senior Field Service Engineer (FSE), you are the technical vanguard of SEMPRE’s mission. You won’t just be maintaining equipment; you will be ensuring tactical superiority and operational readiness in high-stakes environments. You will provide on-site technical support, system integration, and operational assistance for a sophisticated ecosystem of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) sensors and communications platforms. This role requires someone comfortable navigating RF spectrums, EO/IR imaging systems, and complex IP networking, all while serving as the primary bridge between SEMPRE’s engineering teams and the warfighters on the ground.

Training & Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert, training operators and customer personnel on system safety, operation, and field-level troubleshooting.
Liaison: Coordinate directly with SEMPRE engineering and OEM vendors to escalate complex issues and influence future product hardening.

Your background will include.

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Domain Knowledge: Must have prior active-duty experience supporting Global Strike Command (AFGSC), including experience supporting nuclear capabilities.
Technical Experience: 3+ years supporting C-UAS, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), RF, or defense communications systems.
Field Expertise: Proven ability to troubleshoot IP networking, RF spectrum monitoring, and sensor fusion architectures in austere or military environments.
Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with EO/IR imaging, radar systems, and Command-and-Control (C2) software.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic, field-deployed settings supporting government and military customers.
Communication: Strong technical documentation skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical operators.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

OEM Familiarity: Prior experience with systems from Dedrone, Teledyne Technologies, FLIR Systems, or AeroVironment.
Military Background: Direct experience in Air Defense, Signals (25 series), ISR, or Electronic Warfare (17/29 series).
Security Architecture: Understanding of Zero Trust principles and how they apply to tactical edge computing.
Active Clearance: Currently holding an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Cutting-Edge Tech: Get hands-on with the only EMP-hardened 5G infrastructure in the world.
Impact: Your work directly protects American lives and ensures our nation's critical infrastructure remains resilient against any threat.

Compensation: The salary for this role is based on experience, qualifications, and location, and is designed to be market-competitive for highly motivated individuals ready to work and grow. The anticipated salary range is between $95K & $120K plus bonus. SEMPRE offers a very competitive benefits package and values internal growth and promotion.

About the Role:
This position is a hands-on, one-person accounting function designed to bridge the gap between transactional data and executive decision-making. The primary objective is to transform the existing accounting foundation into a source of reliable financial intelligence. This individual will personally manage the full spectrum of accounting & financial operations, from ensuring the accuracy of initial coding to delivering high-level strategic projections.
You’ll be the cornerstone of our back office - working directly in QuickBooks, Paylocity, and Beebole to process transactions, close the books, manage cash, and ensure compliance with government contracting requirements. You’ll also maintain our profiles in government systems (SAM.gov, IPP, etc.), manage insurance programs, and keep our records audit-ready.

Responsibilities:

Own all day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring precision in a lean, small-business environment.
Standardize the month-end close and re-engineer accounting process architectures to ensure data integrity and scalable workflows.
Engineer advanced management reporting packages, including granular cost visibility, task order, and customer P&Ls, cash flow forecasting, and annual budgeting.
Manage full-lifecycle GovCon accounting, specifically complex task-order setups, compliant billing cycles, and DCAA reporting.

Keep all financial, insurance, and compliance records organized, backed up, and audit-ready.
Maintain compliance with DCAA, FAR/DFARS, indirect rates, and contract billing.
Oversee insurance renewals and risk management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA, CMA, or comparable professional certification/license is strongly preferred.
5-10 years of hands-on accounting experience, including a proven track record of owning the accounting function for a small business
Strong reporting skills with the ability to build complex reconciliations and custom reports outside of standard accounting software.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, QuickBooks, and Paylocity; experience with integrated timekeeping systems is required.
Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial business where you will own the work, not just manage it.
Preference: Significant experience in government contracting (familiarity with DCAA, FAR/DFARS, indirect rate, and billing) is a major plus.

Why Join Us?
If you want to be the key accounting, finance, and compliance leader in a small business where your work has an immediate impact, this is the role. You’ll own the systems, re-architect the processes, and ensure the company is always financially sound and audit-ready.

Compensation: The base salary is dependent on qualifications and experience and is expected to be in the range of $80,000-$90,000 annually. Benefits are provided, including PTO, health, dental, and vision.
