Agrana Fruit is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Manager to manage quality control staff, for all internal auditing programs, as well as 3rd party audit compliance, compliance with all company food safety & quality programs and procedures. This position will also supervise the maintenance of all plant food safety & quality documentation systems, development and maintenance of food safety & quality training programs for entire plant, and overall food safety & quality leadership to ensure the safe and efficient manufacturing of the highest quality products to meet customer specifications.  
 
Key responsibilities:

Maintain the Food Safety & Quality Management Systems (FSQMS) to ensure compliance with the appropriate certification standards (i.e. FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, etc.) and plant FSQ performance to fulfil established KPI targets
Manage the FSQMS to ensure the day-to-day activities are completed and aligned with the AGRANA FSQ strategies.
Under the direction of the Plant Manager and US Head of Food Safety & Quality assist with the development of the FSQ strategies to ensure alignment with overall AGRANA direction.
Manage and maintain a highly trained quality assurance staff to confirm product testing is completed promptly and accurately to ensure only the highest quality products are shipped to the customer.
Conduct the bi-annual review of the lab personnel and approve the reviews for all quality assurance staff. Based on the evaluations, coordinate and monitor follow up training to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, safety and quality policies.  Establish programs to help the individual achieve the highest performance growth.
Control and update all Botkins procedures including food safety & quality procedures, standard operating procedures and work instructions so that all personnel will know and follow the correct established processes.  Correct procedures are critical for successful training.
Prepare for and participate in customer and regulatory audits at the Botkins Plant to ensure superior audit scores and compliance with all regulatory and customer requirements.  Superior audits help maintain or gain approved supplier status with customers.   Review and document completion of any corrective and preventative actions along with providing follow-up with customers and regulatory agencies as needed.
Facilitate the plant food safety and quality team.  Coordinate troubleshooting efforts and investigations to determine root cause when personnel or process deviations or failures occur.  Subsequently, identify and implement necessary corrective actions to prevent recurrence and provide full documentation of investigation and corrective actions accomplished.
Assist New Product Development (NPD) on new commercialized products so that quality and related customer issues can be resolved to ensure a successful product launch for Agrana and the customer.  Monitor ongoing product performance through statistical process control (SPC) trending and provide recommendations for product adjustments to NPD based on analysis.
Communicate plant food safety & quality information on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  Through reports, meetings and presentations provide plant management and corporate staff an accurate view of plant performance through analysis of data trending.  This information measures improvement and completion of goals.
Oversee and investigate all Botkins customer returns or complaints to ensure accurate determination of root cause and implementation of any needed corrective actions.   Maintain contact with the customer for resolution of the issues.
Oversee the implementation of Food Manufacturing Practices and associated FSMS programs to ensure production of safe and wholesome products.  

 
Core competencies:

Strong communication skills &ndash;written and verbal 
Strong computer skills proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, SAP 
Strong working knowledge of Food Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, basic quality testing and safety issues 
Previous experience with GFSI certification systems (ISO 22000/FSSC Certification experience a strong preference)

Job requirements:

       B. S. in Food Science, Biology, or applicable science field 
       Minimum five years supervisory experience in a food manufacturing plant
       Experience with Quality Management systems

Agrana Fruit is seeking a Quality Specialist to be responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining customer-facing product documentation, specifications and certification program documentation. This role ensures all documentation is accurate, compliant, and aligned with food safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Working closely with New Product Development (NPD), Procurement, Supplier Quality, Ingredient Portfolio Management, Technical Services, and manufacturing sites, the Corporate Quality Specialist plays a key role in supporting product commercialization, customer requests, and document lifecycle management.
Key responsibilities:
Customer Documentation & Specification Management

Review and approve customer-facing documentation from a Food Safety & Quality perspective prior to customer submission.
Prepare and complete customer specification templates and documentation requests.
Review, maintain, and approve certification-related documentation, including Kosher, Non-GMO Project Verified, Halal, and other customer-required certifications, ensuring compliance with program requirements and timely support of customer documentation requests
Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
Validate product information including:

Product specifications
Nutritional information
Allergen statements
GMO declarations
Formulation-related documentation
Safety Data Sheets (SDS)



Documentation Lifecycle Management

Create, revise, review, approve, and archive customer specifications and related documents.
Maintain customer documentation, certifications, and records within internal and external document management systems.
Support compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and applicable food safety programs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with New Product Development (NPD), Procurement, Supplier Quality, Ingredient Portfolio Management, Technical Services, and manufacturing sites.
Support commercialization activities and customer projects.
Participate as a member of cross-functional customer teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to customer documentation and process efficiencies.

Position Summary 


AGRANA Fruit is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support all aspects of the Order-to-Cash process. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, production, planning, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service, accurate order processing, and timely communication.

Key Responsibilities 




Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. 






Support all activities associated with the Order-to-Cash process. 






Monitor, manage, and communicate customer inventory levels. 






Assist with forecasting activities and production follow-up. 






Maintain customer master data within company systems. 






Manage order changes and support On-Time In-Full (OTIF) reporting. 






Participate on assigned customer account teams. 








Coordinate customer product trials. 






Administer the Dump Bill to Customer process. 






Manage the Tote Return process. 






Process sample billings. 






Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.

As part of a cross-functional maintenance team, duties may also be inclusive of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing/pipe fitting, and refrigeration. 


The pay rate for this role is $40/ hour with shift premium included. We are seeking individuals open to working 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:30am).

Perform electrical maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment. 






Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, components, and circuit boards. 






Install, replace, and modify electrical wiring, receptacles, lighting, and fixtures. 






Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. 






Conduct inspections and testing of equipment to ensure code compliance and operational safety. 






Perform preventive maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of all repairs and service.

Required Qualifications:

Cross-Functional Collaboration
&bull;    Work closely with Sales and Marketing to translate customer needs and market trends into actionable development projects.
&bull;    Align with Procurement and suppliers on raw materials, packaging development, and ingredient qualifications.
&bull;    Support feasibility assessments, regulatory reviews, and compliance (quality, safety, labeling).

Project & People Leadership

Required Skills:

Position Qualifications

Agrana Fruit is seeking a qualified Regulatory Specialist, who will be responsible for creating and maintaining food ingredient data to support new product launches. The role is accountable for analyzing & interpreting regulatory & functional requirements for ingredient data. In this position, the candidate will collaborate across functions to oversee ingredient lifecycle processes and change management. 
 
Key responsibilities:

Qualify new ingredients coordinating with Food technologists to support new product launches. Review and input ingredient data in accordance with regional & global standards. Ensure the data is accurate, reliable and relevant to market needs and is compliant to both Agrana & customer standards.
Responsible for updating & maintaining ingredient database. Escalate to & collaborate with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Ingredient Portfolio & Operations teams in the event of changes to the ingredients. Lead ingredient approval meetings to facilitate priorities, status updates & ingredient lifecycle management. 
Convert raw ingredient and supplier data into accurate, compliant,  consumer-facing labels, as well as managing new ingredient approval processes for experimental and commercial products. This role ensures ingredient declarations meet regulatory requirements while remaining clear, consistent, and easy for consumers to understand.
Reporting of master data and raw material approval metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. 
Responsible for creation and revision of relevant documented information (SOPs, work instructions, etc.) to ensure organizational knowledge is available. 
Take on additional responsibility potentially identified within the scope of ingredient portfolio management.

Strong skills for collaborating with other teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Job requirements:

1&ndash;3 years of relevant experience in R&D, Corporate Quality, Food specifications, Food Labeling or other relevant food manufacturing areas.
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Business or a related field

$1000 Hiring Bonus  We are seeking maintenance technicians to provide support for plant equipment and facility maintenance at the Botkins, OH production facility. This role is responsible for all maintenance-related activities within the plant or on the plant grounds including electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, plumbing/pipe fitting, and refrigeration. 


This is a 3rd Shift Position, hours of which are 11:00pm &ndash; 7:30am, Sunday night &ndash; Friday morning. The pay rate for this position is $31.35/hour with shift premium included.   Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities: 




Ability to maintain plant facility, grounds, structure and related equipment. Follows standard operating and safety procedures. Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures. Maintain and repair powered and non-powered rolling equipment. Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration of small equipment per instructions. 






Electrical- Troubleshoot and install equipment and machinery using electrical schematics. Knowledge of motor components and controls, installation of conduit and related fittings, and basic knowledge of PLC and related components. 






Hydraulics- Troubleshoot and repair simple hydraulic systems and related components. 






Pneumatics- Practical knowledge of pneumatic systems and related controls. 






Welding- Practical maintenance welding ability in TIG is a plus. 






Plumbing/Pipe Fitting- Ability to install or repair copper or steel pipe. 






Refrigeration- Knowledge of refrigeration and related equipment is a plus. 






Observe all GMP&rsquo;s, HAACP&rsquo;s, good housekeeping and safety rules & regulations. 




 Maintenance Technician Job Qualifications: 




High School diploma or GED equivalent. Industrial Maintenance certification is preferred. 






Industrial Maintenance job experience is required. 






Prior job experience in food production is a plus. 






Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
