Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for technical support and equipment updates. 
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance actions in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements. 
Assist in risk assessment and implementation of preventive maintenance programs. 
Support inventory management and tracking of biomedical equipment. 
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new biomedical equipment. 
Assist in logistics planning and equipment deployment in support of operational readiness. 

 
Travel
Willingness and ability to travel 25-50% based on client needs

Qualifications

As a minimum, BMET&rsquo;s shall be a graduate of the Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Equipment Repairers Course or certified through the International Certification Commission (CBET) or have at least earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Equipment Technology.
Minimum two (2) years of experience as a BMET.
Must possess knowledge maintenance actions: technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment.
Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. 
Good communication and time management skills.
Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.
Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.
Candidates must possess, or be able to obtain prior to start date, acceptable identification for federal facility access, such as a REAL ID-compliant driver's license/ID, U.S. passport, or other approved federal identification document. ID must remain valid for the duration of employment.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.  
Experience with the Department of Defense, preferred.

Salary

$34.48 per hour 
$71,718 Annualized

Description 


The Medical Materiel Specialist (MMS) II shall include, but are not limited to, general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, ordering, assemblage management, and operation of various materials handling equipment (MHE), Quality Assurance (QA) and cargo preparation and deployment, to include medical controlled items stored in a secure location, and utilizing, updating DoD MMIS/DMLSS records. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Manage the procurement of medical supplies and equipment. 
Ensure all assets in medical WRM assemblages/kits are accounted for and managed. 
Lead management of deferred procurement programs. 
Ensure all assigned WRM assemblages are inventoried. 
Ensure all assigned WRM assemblages are stored appropriately. 
Develop activation checklists for logistics activities. 
Coordinating logistics activities with other base organizations, units, and government agencies, ensuring the overall readiness and availability of assigned ECMM to include general medical materiel management and warehouse activities. 
Conduct monthly reviews, and provide monthly reports to the COR, of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance. 
Manage shelf-life extension program (SLEP) and serve as SLEP monitor, if required.  
Maintain WRM, SLEP, MC-CBRN etc. continuity files IAW policy & regulations.  
Identify and determine proper storage locations (refer, hazmat, flam, etc.) 
Brief medical readiness committee on materiel status of all assigned contingency projects. 
Conduct self-inspections and maintain support agreements. 
Demonstrate use of PPE. 
Package and ship temperature sensitive materiel. 
Verify incoming material for correctness in qty, condition etc. 
Research and resolve shipment discrepancies. 
Identify controlled item markings, store and secure in  
Perform controlled item inventories. 
Adherent to controlled management program policy and guidance. 
Update MMIS with QA data of new or incorrect data. 
Retrieve Hazardous alerts and recalls, inspect storage locations for effected materiel, document actions, update MMIS/DMLSS and perform dispositions actions. 
Provide customer support. 
Assist in building kits & assemblages. 
Utilize Allowance Standard management system (ASMS) 
Identify Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) 
Attain certification/license to drive/operate materiel handling equipment (MHE). 
Attain cargo certification to palletize and pack medical items and segregate special handling according to regulations. 
Develop a WRM acquisition plan in advance of funding allocation. 
Work independently at single-location sites. 
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or advanced degree in related field preferred.
Minimum of six (6) years of medical logistics field experience, including specialized experience in Ordering, receiving, and customer support. 
Inventory and assemblage (kit) management. 
Warehousing operations and use of material handling equipment 
Experience supporting medical logistics operations within a healthcare or healthcare support environment. 
Demonstrated experience using DoD Medical Materiel Information Systems (MMIS) to process medical materiel transactions. 
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support. 
Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance eligibility. 
Experience using Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) preferred.
Experience with the Department of Defense preferred.

Description
The Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) - Level III Alternate Program Manager Ctr (BMET Lead/Scheduler) serves as the senior technical and operational lead responsible for managing, scheduling, and coordinating all biomedical maintenance activities within the program.
This role encompasses the full range of biomedical maintenance, inspection, calibration, diagnostics, and repair of medical and non-medical support equipment, while also providing leadership, project management, and scheduling oversight for assigned personnel and tasks.
The BMET Lead/Scheduler ensures all work is performed in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidance, Department of Defense (DoD) instructions, and applicable regulations to maintain maximum operational readiness of equipment and personnel.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure all biomedical equipment and maintenance operations are in full compliance with Federal, State, and DoD regulatory requirements.
Serve as the Alternate Program Manager, supporting the Program Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, managing schedules, and ensuring contractual performance standards are met.
Lead and manage a team of biomedical technicians; assign tasks, monitor work performance, and provide technical and professional mentorship.
Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance and inspection schedules to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance.
Oversee and coordinate project management activities, including new equipment installation, system upgrades, lifecycle replacement, and equipment relocation.
Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex medical equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of medical and support equipment; coordinate vendor service when required.
Manage resource allocation, workload balancing, and maintenance prioritization across assigned sites or departments.
Review maintenance data and inspection outcomes; provide analytical feedback and recommend continuous process improvements.
 Supervise and validate preventive maintenance actions performed by both internal teams and external service providers.
Conduct complex inspections and acceptance testing of new, used, or reconditioned medical equipment.
Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and purchase requisitions for parts, equipment, and services.
Maintain effective communication with leadership, medical staff, and external stakeholders to ensure maintenance transparency and mission alignment.
Assist the Program Manager with project tracking, risk assessments, and performance reporting.
Support training programs and ensure technician certifications and competencies are maintained in accordance with program standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree is desired but may not be required if minimum field experience requirements are met.
Must have graduated from the DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or an accredited civilian Biomedical Maintenance Course.
Must graduate from the Planmeca digital dental course no later than 12 months after start.
Minimum 10 years of field experience, including at least four years at a Level II BMET and demonstrated experience in personnel management, scheduling, and project coordination.
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical staff, manage workloads, and maintain operational readiness across multiple work sites or projects.
Strong background in project management, including planning, execution, and tracking of equipment maintenance and installation projects.
Experience managing inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, life cycle management, and acquisition of biomedical and support equipment in compliance with OEM and DoD standards.
Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer-sponsored visa.
Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

$80,000 to $ 100,000 annual

Description

The Biomedical Equipment Technician Level II is responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a wide range of biomedical equipment. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The technician will also provide training and support to junior staff and clinical users. 


 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities




Conduct routine and complex maintenance, calibration, and repairs on biomedical equipment. 






Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, utilizing schematics and technical manuals. 






Ensure all biomedical equipment meets safety and performance standards. 






Document all maintenance and repair actions in the equipment management system. 






Conduct quality assurance assessments on employee tasks and repair orders. 






Provide training and support to junior technicians and clinical staff. 






Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for technical support and equipment updates. 






Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new biomedical equipment. 






Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 






Support inventory management and tracking of biomedical equipment. 






Assist in risk assessment and implementation of preventive maintenance programs. 






Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, FDA, and other healthcare equipment regulations. 






Participate in process improvement initiatives for equipment tracking and maintenance programs. 






Performs other related duties as assigned.




 
Qualifications


Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is preferred but not required. 




2+ years of related experience and/or training. 
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Teams) 
CMMS and any Asset-Specific Software 



Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 




Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. 




Familiarity with Joint Commission, FDA, and other healthcare equipment regulations. 




Must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license and maintain an acceptable driving record



 
Contract Length

3-year contract with options for 2 additional years.

 
Salary

$ 25.00 - $31.25/ hour
$ 52,000 - $ 65,000 Annualized

Description 


The Medical Materiel Specialist (MMS) II shall include, but are not limited to, general warehousing tasks, customer support, requisition, shipping, receiving, building medical kits, inventory management, ordering, assemblage management, and operation of various materials handling equipment (MHE), Quality Assurance (QA) and cargo preparation and deployment, to include medical controlled items stored in a secure location, and utilizing, updating DoD MMIS/DMLSS records. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Manage the procurement of medical supplies and equipment. 
Ensure all assets in medical WRM assemblages/kits are accounted for and managed. 
Lead management of deferred procurement programs. 
Ensure all assigned WRM assemblages are inventoried. 
Ensure all assigned WRM assemblages are stored appropriately. 
Develop activation checklists for logistics activities. 
Coordinating logistics activities with other base organizations, units, and government agencies, ensuring the overall readiness and availability of assigned ECMM to include general medical materiel management and warehouse activities. 
Conduct monthly reviews, and provide monthly reports to the COR, of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance. 
Manage shelf-life extension program (SLEP) and serve as SLEP monitor, if required.  
Maintain WRM, SLEP, MC-CBRN etc. continuity files IAW policy & regulations.  
Identify and determine proper storage locations (refer, hazmat, flam, etc.) 
Brief medical readiness committee on materiel status of all assigned contingency projects. 
Conduct self-inspections and maintain support agreements. 
Demonstrate use of PPE. 
Package and ship temperature sensitive materiel. 
Verify incoming material for correctness in qty, condition etc. 
Research and resolve shipment discrepancies. 
Identify controlled item markings, store and secure in  
Perform controlled item inventories. 
Adherent to controlled management program policy and guidance. 
Update MMIS with QA data of new or incorrect data. 
Retrieve Hazardous alerts and recalls, inspect storage locations for effected materiel, document actions, update MMIS/DMLSS and perform dispositions actions. 
Provide customer support. 
Assist in building kits & assemblages. 
Utilize Allowance Standard management system (ASMS) 
Identify Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) 
Attain certification/license to drive/operate materiel handling equipment (MHE). 
Attain cargo certification to palletize and pack medical items and segregate special handling according to regulations. 
Develop a WRM acquisition plan in advance of funding allocation. 
Work independently at single-location sites. 
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or advanced degree in related field preferred.
Minimum of six (6) years of medical logistics field experience, including specialized experience in Ordering, receiving, and customer support. 
Inventory and assemblage (kit) management. 
Warehousing operations and use of material handling equipment 
Experience supporting medical logistics operations within a healthcare or healthcare support environment. 
Demonstrated experience using DoD Medical Materiel Information Systems (MMIS) to process medical materiel transactions. 
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support. 
Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance eligibility. 
Experience using Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) preferred.
Experience with the Department of Defense preferred.

Description
The Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) - Level II is responsible for performing inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of medical and non-medical support equipment, including but not limited to medical package tools, generators, and environmental control units. The BMET II ensures all work is conducted in compliance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) guidance, DoD instructions, applicable regulations, and unit directives. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to established procedures to maintain equipment reliability and operational readiness.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Must follow original equipment manufacturer guidance, AFI, regulations and unit direction.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of biomedical equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
Diagnoses and troubleshoot malfunctions in medical devices, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with vendors for service when required.
Maintain detailed service records, documenting repairs, maintenance actions, and performance evaluations.
Assist in the installation and configuration of new biomedical equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
Life cycle management, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of medical and non-medical support equipment (oxygen generating systems, radiographic diagnostics equipment, life support systems, etc.).
Determines associated support items of equipment in order to perform scheduled services and maintenance repairs and calibration; supply support and provisioning requirements; and training requirements.
Prepares necessary support documentation and purchase requisitions of parts.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate&rsquo;s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field OR graduated from the DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or an accredited civilian Biomedical Maintenance Course OR CBET
Must graduate from the Planmeca digital dental course no later than 12 months after start.
Four (4) years of field experience in performing and managing: initial inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, life cycle management, and repair of medical equipment within OEM guidance, advanced: diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of medical and non-medical support equipment (oxygen generating systems, radiographic diagnostics equipment, advanced life support systems, etc.).
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field, preferred.

Qualifications

Description
The Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) &ndash; Level III is responsible for performing inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of medical and non-medical support equipment, including but not limited to medical package tools, generators, and environmental control units. The BMET -Level III ensures all work is conducted in compliance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) guidance, DoD instructions, applicable regulations, and unit directives. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to established procedures to maintain equipment reliability and operational readiness.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that the biomedical equipment is in compliance with Federal, State, and/or applicable regulatory requirements; implement quality control standards and maintain budget and vendor relationships.
Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex medical equipment, instrumentation, and systems.
Assign routine repairs, inspections, and installations to subordinates and observe their performance.
Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems, and monitor completion of preventive maintenance activities performed by outside vendors (when applicable).
Review outcome of preventive maintenance actions and make recommendations to department staff concerning improvements.
Perform complex technical inspections of new, used or reconditioned military medical equipment.
Recommend new equipment and testing procedures.
Must follow original equipment manufacturer guidance, AFI, regulations and unit direction.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of biomedical equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in medical devices, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with vendors for service when required.
Maintain detailed service records, documenting repairs, maintenance actions, and performance evaluations.
Assist in the installation and configuration of new biomedical equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
Life cycle management, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of medical and non-medical support equipment (oxygen generating systems, radiographic diagnostics equipment, life support systems, etc.).
Determines associated support items of equipment in order to perform scheduled services and maintenance repairs and calibration; supply support and provisioning requirements; and training requirements.
Prepares necessary support documentation and purchase requisitions of parts.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree is desired but may not be required if the minimum field experience requirement is met.
Must have graduated from the DoD Biomedical Maintenance Course or an accredited civilian Biomedical Maintenance Course.
Must graduate from the Planmeca digital dental course no later than 12 months after start.
Minimum 10 years of field experience (minimum of four years as a level II BMET) in managing: initial inspections, calibrations, diagnostics, maintenance, life cycle management, repair of medical equipment, equipment acquisition, and safety within OEM guidance and local/state/federal regulations.
Advanced degree in a related field, preferred.
Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.
Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.

Description
The Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) Level III performs operational and safety testing, maintenance and repairs on patient care equipment. Responsibilities include technical inspections of new, used or reconditioned medical equipment, repair of damaged medical equipment, and overhaul of medical equipment. This is a Senior level technician position which also involves project management and equipment planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
&middot;        Conduct technical inspections of new, used, or reconditioned medical equipment. 
&middot;        Perform maintenance actions, including repairs, calibrations, preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS), and overhauls of medical equipment. 
&middot;        Ensure compliance with military and federal regulations regarding biomedical equipment safety and performance standards. 
&middot;        Utilize authorized Army Automation Systems, including but not limited to:  
&middot;        Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) 
&middot;        Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) 
&middot;        Theater Enterprise-Wide Logistics System (TEWLS) 
&middot;        Global Combat Support System (GCSS) 
&middot;        Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for technical support and equipment updates. 
&middot;        Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance actions in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements. 
&middot;        Assist in risk assessment and implementation of preventive maintenance programs. 
&middot;        Support inventory management and tracking of biomedical equipment. 
&middot;        Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new biomedical equipment. 
&middot;        Assist in logistics planning and equipment deployment in support of operational readiness. 
Travel
&middot;        Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
 
Work Schedule
&middot;        Monday-Thursday
&middot;        4/10 Shift 6:15 AM &ndash; 4:15 PM PST

Qualifications
&middot;        As a minimum, BMET&rsquo;s shall be a graduate of the Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Equipment Repairers Course or certified through the International Certification Commission (CBET) or have at least earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Equipment Technology.
&middot;        Minimum 6 years of experience as a BMET.
&middot;        Must possess knowledge maintenance actions: technical inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhaul of medical equipment.
&middot;        Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. 
&middot;        Good communication and time management skills.
&middot;        Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.
&middot;        Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.
&middot;        Experience with the Department of Defense, preferred.
 
Salary



$ 33.80 - $ 37.52 per hour  






$ 70,304- $ 78,041 Annualized
