At Impact Ministry Training Center (IMTC), every role matters because every person we serve matters. When you join our team, you become part of a mission to develop ministry leaders, strengthen churches, and equip individuals to make a lasting impact in their communities.
We’re looking for a Formation & Engagement Coordinator—someone who is organized, relational, proactive, and passionate about leadership development and Christian formation. If you enjoy building relationships, coordinating meaningful learning experiences, supporting ministry leaders, and creating opportunities for people to grow in their leadership, this role is for you.
Please note: This position is anticipated to begin in mid-January 2027.

Why You’ll Love Working Here
Every participant you encourage, every leadership experience you coordinate, and every partnership you help strengthen contributes to developing leaders equipped to serve their churches, organizations, and communities more effectively.
As the Formation & Engagement Coordinator, you’ll help bring IMTC’s leadership development initiatives to life. You’ll play an important role in coordinating welcoming, engaging, and transformational experiences that support the spiritual formation, leadership growth, and ongoing development of pastors, ministry leaders, nonprofit professionals, and congregational leaders.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
· Be part of a purpose-driven organization committed to transformational Christian leadership and ministry development.
· Build meaningful relationships with participants, facilitators, churches, and ministry partners.
· Help coordinate leadership cohorts, retreats, workshops, leadership gatherings, and other learning experiences.
· Contribute ideas that strengthen participant engagement, collaboration, and program effectiveness.
· Support a multicultural community of leaders who are committed to growing, learning, and making a difference.
· Use your organizational, communication, and relationship-building strengths to advance a mission that matters.

What You’ll Do
Coordinate Leadership Formation Programs: Coordinate initiatives that support transformational, practice-based learning and Christian formation across IMTC programs. Coordinate participant registration, onboarding, scheduling, learning materials, event preparation, and operational support for leadership development initiatives.
Cultivate Participant Engagement and Community: Foster meaningful participant experiences that strengthen engagement, connection, retention, and leadership development throughout IMTC programs. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with participants and facilitators, encourage peer learning and collaboration, and cultivate welcoming learning communities that support ongoing leadership development.
Strengthen Ministry Partnerships: Collaborate with the Program Manager, IMTC program staff, facilitators, churches, ministry networks, and organizational partners to support successful program delivery and alignment with IMTC priorities. Assist with partner communication, collaborative learning initiatives, leadership gatherings, site visits, meetings, and regional engagement opportunities.
Support Transformational Learning Experiences: Support the delivery of culturally responsive and theologically grounded leadership formation experiences. Encourage participants to integrate leadership learning and Christian practices into ministry, organizational leadership, and community engagement. Support opportunities for practice-based leadership development, testimony, and collaborative ministry relationships.
Manage Program Operations and Communication: Maintain participant records, communication workflows, documentation, and operational systems that support leadership development initiatives. Coordinate scheduling, distribute program information, prepare learning materials, and use Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and collaborative technologies to support program delivery and participant communication.
Monitor Program Effectiveness: Support participant tracking, reporting, assessments, surveys, feedback collection, and program evaluation activities. Maintain accurate participant information and program documentation while contributing to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen program effectiveness, operational efficiency, and participant engagement.
Collaborate Across IMTC: Work closely with the Program Manager, Executive Director, IMTC program staff, facilitators, churches, and organizational partners to support successful program delivery. This position reports directly to the Program Manager, who provides supervision, day-to-day work direction, prioritization, coordination, and accountability. The role may collaborate with the Executive Director on strategic alignment and programmatic matters as needed. Contribute ideas that enhance participant engagement, partnership development, and overall program effectiveness.

Why This Role Matters
Strong leaders need more than training. They need meaningful relationships, supportive communities, opportunities to practice what they learn, and encouragement throughout their leadership journey.
As the Formation & Engagement Coordinator, you will help create those opportunities. Your work will connect people, strengthen partnerships, and support the delivery of leadership development experiences that equip ministry leaders to lead with greater confidence, resilience, faithfulness, and purpose.
From welcoming new participants to coordinating a leadership retreat, from supporting a facilitator to strengthening a ministry partnership, your contributions will help transform IMTC’s mission into meaningful experiences for the leaders and communities we serve.
Your work will help shape not only the learning experience, but also the relationships and communities that sustain leadership growth.

Christ Church seeks a candidate who is a committed follower of Jesus Christ and whose personal values align with our mission, vision, and beliefs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field
3-5 years of experience in administrative operations, project coordination, or similar roles
Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in nonprofit, ministry, or mission-driven environments

Bilingual or multilingual proficiency

Experience developing SOPs or operational documentation

Experience maintaining administrative trackers or supporting grant documentation (administrative side)

A teachable, coachable attitude with a commitment to learning and continuous improvement
