We are responsible, holding ourselves accountable to each other and the work we do. We strive for excellence, pushing boundaries to deliver our best every day. We remain authentic, embracing honesty, humility, and individuality. And above all, we are team centered, knowing that true success comes from collaboration and shared purpose.
About The Role
Are you ready to drive strategic execution at a rapidly scaling brand? Rhone is seeking a Manager, Project Management Office (Centric PLM) to serve as the connective tissue across our major cross-functional initiatives. Based in our Stamford, CT office, this role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and people. You will translate high-level business goals into structured, accountable execution, taking primary ownership of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) roadmap and cross-platform integrations, including our ERP. If you are a passionate program manager who excels at process improvement, product data management, and building operational infrastructure from the ground up, we want you on our team to help drive us Forever Forward.
What You’ll Do
As the Manager, Project Management Office (PLM), you will shift our organization from hero-driven execution to disciplined, repeatable ways of working. Here is how you will drive impact through our GREAT principles:
Gritty
-
Independently own and maintain a centralized view of active strategic initiatives, providing leadership with real-time visibility into project status, risks, and interdependencies.
-
Establish metrics for success and track progress within the PLM space to ensure product data accuracy and process compliance.
-
Develop and track KPIs and milestones for major programs, proactively escalating blockers before they impact the critical path.
-
Facilitate prioritization processes with senior leadership to make clear trade-off decisions when resources are constrained.
-
Pivot as needed based on the latest data.
Responsible
-
Serve as the business lead for Rhone’s PLM relationship, managing the improvement roadmap for PLM enhancements and integration with other platforms in the Rhone tech stack.
-
Establish clear decision rights across initiatives—defining who decides what, when decisions are final, and how they are documented.
-
Act as the organizational conscience on decision finality, preventing decisions from being revisited or overridden by default.
Excellence
-
Evaluate, implement, and continuously improve project management tracking, driving Forever Forward progress.
- Document and standardize repeatable processes to reduce operational friction and improve team efficiency.
Authentic
-
Support organizational change by developing transparent communication plans, stakeholder maps, and adoption strategies.
-
Create executive-ready updates and cascade strategic direction, ensuring teams understand how their individual work ladders up to company goals.
-
Embrace Courage Over Comfort by addressing ambiguity head-on and navigating complex, competing priorities with honesty and clarity.
Team Centered
-
Lead cross-functional working sessions and stand-ups spanning go-to-market, technology, and operations, proving there is Strength in Numbers.
-
Coordinate training on PLM enhancements with Rhone’s internal teams (Production, Product Development, Design, Tech Design, Merchandising) and external partners.
-
Embody a Compete to Complete mindset by partnering strategically with functional owners who lack dedicated project management resources to ensure shared success.
What Success Looks Like
-
First 100 Days: Immerse yourself in Rhone’s systems and culture. Map our current PLM landscape and build foundational relationships with key stakeholders across Product, Strategy, and Tech.
-
Take ownership of the active PLM roadmap. Define and begin enforcing initial project governance standards, templates, and decision-making frameworks.
-
Fully lead cross-functional working sessions, launch standardized KPI reporting for leadership, and implement your first major process optimization.
What You’ll Bring
-
Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, strategy, or operations, ideally within consumer products, retail, apparel, or DTC/e-commerce environments.
-
Technical Expertise: Direct experience leading a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation, enhancement, or transformation. Experience with Centric PLM is strongly preferred, though experience with similar platforms (e.g., Backbone, PTC FlexPLM, Bamboo Rose) paired with an aptitude to learn quickly is also highly valued.
-
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of product creation, merchandising, sourcing, planning, and product data management processes.
-
Strategic Execution: Demonstrated ability to build operational infrastructure from the ground up in a scaling business, sequencing early wins to create momentum for harder changes later.
-
Influence: Exceptional facilitation skills, with executive-level credibility to synthesize complexity into clear, actionable narratives and drive alignment across functions you do not directly own.
-
Credentials: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
What You’ll Get
-
Competitive compensation
-
Health, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits
-
401(k) with company incentive savings plan
-
Equity participation
-
Company holidays and discretionary time off policy
-
Career growth and advancement opportunities at a brand with significant scaling momentum
