A Myrtle Beach Law Firm seeks a Criminal Defense Paralegal for their growing office. This law firm represents individuals charged with what the public views as serious and heinous criminal offenses.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: *Case intake, gather documents

• Communicate with court and clients.
• Calendaring.
• Type briefs, correspondence, legal documents, etc…
• Filing, check in mail, and other administrative duties assigned.
• Support three criminal defense attorneys.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must be professional and courteous in both demeanor and appearance.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Criminal, Serious Felony, Murder Defense experience and DUI.
• MUST be professional in demeanor and appearance.
• MUST be a TEAM employee.
• Very proactive and thorough.
• Type 55+ wpm.
• Dictation experience.
• Familiar with and under stands court system.
• Trial Support experience.
• Experience with Drop Box, Rocket Matter and Go Clio is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Salary commensurate with experience.
• Exceptional communication & written skills.
• Attention to details.
• Willing to work overtime during a trial
