Career Evolutions is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst for a fast growing company in Phoenix, AZ. It's a full-time, direct-hire opportunity paying up to $80,000 + Benefits.

You will identify, measure, analyze, and communicate financial information and reporting to support company operations and future growth. You will also provide industry trend analysis to the accounting and operation teams.

Furthermore, you will serve as a partner within the organization to provide business to other leaders in the organization to create, evaluate, track and report financial goals and outcomes while ensuring data quality and transparency. You will also assist in weekly and monthly financial packages and the development of materials to support weekly, monthly, and quarterly results. And you will assist in the improvement and streamlining of processes and provide guidance to the operations team on maintaining inventory tracking / counting and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial statement analysis to gain understanding of an organization’s financial situation by reviewing its financial reports and analyze risks related to market conditions or trends
• Perform research and analysis to provide management with strategic, actionable, and measurable financial information and recommendations
• Prepare financial and business-related analysis using key financial metrics (ROI, IRR, Breakeven)
• Execute analysis to help identify revenue and margin enhancing initiatives for organization
• Translate findings into insights and actions and implications for the overall business
• Perform variance analysis to determine actual performance vs goals
• Weekly review of store level financial metrics

Budgeting & Forecasting & Reporting

• Assist in the development of budget and create trends for key items in the financial statements
• Develop and provide financial reports and dashboards to the team for insights and reporting
• Monitor financial performance trends, identify variances and take appropriate steps
• Prepare financial materials for Board of Director meetings
• Responsible for projection models and complete Ad-hoc Data reporting requests as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business, MBA a plus
• 5+ years of experience, with increasing levels of responsibility in entrepreneurial environments
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting and analysis is required
• Advanced Excel user required and strong Financial Systems / Analytics experience preferred
• Demonstrated success in producing timely and accurate reports and dashboards
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
• Prior experience working in hospitality, hotel, restaurant industries preferred
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, creative and presentation skills
