We are now accepting resume/applications for EXPERIENCED Warehouse Associate for the Houma, LA & surrounding area. Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:

• Job Scope:
  • The position of Warehouse Worker is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Requirements for Position:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Oilfield experience preferred, but not necessary
  • On call 24/7 nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass drug screen & physical
• Required Skills:
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to operate forklift efficiently
  • Basic knowledge of tools & how they operate
  • Possess basic written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic math and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and self motivated
  • Ability to work with others
  • Team player, ability to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
• Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • DOT Testing and Inspecting all sizes of IBC’s (Tote Tanks)
  • Inspect slings: when new slings are delivered and before slings go out to or come in from a job
  • Select, label and mark containers correctly.
  • Blend chemicals, fill tanks, drums, pails, gallon containers, etc.
  • Coordinate trucking for incoming and outgoing freight.
  • Process, Ship, and Receive orders for incoming or outgoing freight.
  • Keep warehouses stocked with chemicals. Receive and process warehouse stock products; unload, document, label and store materials.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages on incoming or outgoing materials.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehouse procedures.
  • Keep warehouses, driveways and yards clean and organized.
  • Keep grass cut and maintained as needed.
  • Positively communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • No personal cell phone use allowed while working in warehouses or yard.
  • Follow customer dress code and hygiene guidelines.
  • Follow all customer quality service standards and comply with procedures, safety rules and regulations.

• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Must be able to work long hours
  • Good stamina & physical health
  • Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions (heat, cold, dusty, dirty and/or wet conditions)
• Documents Required:
  • Driver's License/Identification
  • Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
• MUST be able to provide PPE (Hard hat, steel toes, safety glasses, & gloves)
• MUST be able to pass drug screen and physical
• MUST have reliable transportation.
• Pay:
  • $15.00 - $18.00 (Based on Experience)
  • Weekly Pay
  • Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday
• Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday (weekends as needed)
    • 8 AM - 5 PM
• Duration of Job: Temp to Hire
