EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for an Assembler to join our team in our Danville, VA location! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare.
Job Description:
The position of Assembler is responsible for the initial steps of PCB (printed circuit board) assembly.- Prepare components and PCBs.
- Place components on bare or partially populated PCBs.
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1+ years of soldering certified experience, preferred
- Desire to learn how to solder if no previous experience
- Able to follow rules/instructions
- Work well with others and independently
- Strong attention to detail and neatness
- Exceptional eye/hand coordination
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes
Working Conditions:
Normal manufacturing environment
9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off
