The Special Projects Manager plays a key supporting role in driving cross-functional coordination, operational efficiency, and successful execution of high-priority initiatives across the Brand Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, this role helps implement new processes, track progress on special initiatives, and keep projects on course through strong communication and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
- Support the execution of high-impact, cross-functional marketing projects by coordinating timelines, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment across teams.
- Assist in organizing and implementing process improvements that streamline operations and help the Brand Marketing team work more efficiently.
- Help monitor and follow up on team priorities, key deliverables, and action items to ensure consistent progress and accountability.
- Collaborate with team leads and project owners to gather updates, identify blockers, and keep projects on track.
- Draft communications, prepare presentation materials, and support internal reporting for ongoing initiatives and leadership updates.
- Help maintain strong communication and collaboration between Brand Marketing and internal partners, including Creative, Brand Marketing, Marketing Program Management, Partnerships, and Business Operations.
- Assist with planning and logistics for team-wide meetings, planning sessions, and special events.
- Manage special projects and tasks as assigned by the Head of Business Operations.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- 5 years of experience in marketing operations, project coordination, project management, communication management, business operations, or a similar field
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels, with a customer-service mindset
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking initiative to move work forward
- Proficiency with Microsoft, Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, and project management tools like Workfront
- Experience working in a marketing or creative environment is a plus
Pay Range:
$68.00 - $73.94/hour
