Our state-of-the-art specialty pharmacy provides medications that are often used to treat complex or rare conditions. We deliver services to enhance the patient experience within the comfort of their home. The Technology Infrastructure Lead manages the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, security, and optimization of physical, virtual, and data center associated infrastructure.  This position manages the change management process related to infrastructure and security updates.  Partners and collaborate closely with Ardon’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) on infrastructure needs and manages the execution of agreed upon plans.  Leads efforts to define, select and implement innovative technologies required by Ardon Health Holding’s (AHH) growing sophistication and scale. Provides expertise on data foundations and solutions. Provides technology leadership to enable and support the Company’s quality program and commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Job type: Full-time

 


Pay Range: $118,133.64 - $153,602.56 annually, depending on experience. Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Position specifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.  Degree or coursework in Information Technology preferred.
  2. 5 years’ experience providing technology leadership with additional years’ experience delivering technology and security solutions.
  3. Experience selecting, managing, and deploying a variety of technology solutions including business intelligence, data & reporting, infrastructure, and security.
  4. Understand Microsoft networks at the operating system level, file/directory security, and user account level.
  5. Strong customer relationship skills.
  6. Experience in support and maintenance of technology solutions and assets.
  7. Proven ability to provide day-to-day direction to technology service providers and manage to contractual commitments.
  8. Strong organizational, troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills both from a business and technical perspective.
  9. Experience in collaborating on solutions which will drive business performance, increase organization efficiency, and enhance company performance.
  10. Ability to evaluate options and make sound decisions that consider both risk and cost.
  11. High level knowledge of IT security tools, practices, and principles.
  12. Proven ability to multitask.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  13. Experience in healthcare or pharmacy strongly preferred.
  14. Experience and/or certification in ITIL, ITSM, ITAM strongly preferred
  15. Certification in IT infrastructure, network, or security strongly preferred.


Essential functions and activities:

  1. Manage the daily operation of the company’s physical and virtual server infrastructure. Ensure members of AHH’s service and technology providers meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) by taking appropriate actions to deliver a reliable, secure computing environment.
  2. Provide production support responsibilities in addition to project work.
  3. Work with IT leadership to create Infrastructure and Security roadmap. Provide technology leadership to drive differentiating, innovating, enabling solutions for AHH as it grows in sophistication, complexity, and scale.
  4. Provide expertise on foundational and emerging technologies.
  5. Define, select, implement, and manage technology solutions for AHH including those related to Infrastructure, Security, Telecommunications/Network, and Data.
  6. Coordinate internal and external infrastructure support including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance.
  7. Drives IT Asset Management (ITAM) and maintain a current and accurate asset inventory for AHH.
  8. IT Service Management (ITSM) for infrastructure and security scope. Provide IT asset management duties to maintain equipment through its lifecycle.
  9. Deploy and ensure adoption of industry best practices, processes, and policies to manage risk, and comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  10. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure critical business needs are met and solutions are adopted and maximized.
  11. Is considered quality management program staff and allocate approximately 20% of overall job requirements to quality management activities.
  12. Actively participate and provide support as needed to fellow leadership and quality program staff to ensure activities related to the company’s quality management program and quality improvement activities maintain priority focus and are effectively executed. This may include but is not limited to activities that promote objective and systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of services and defined Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) that may result from such efforts.
  13. Comply with the company’s Human Resources policies, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and all department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company, employee, and customer information; attending work punctually and regularly; and adhering to good safety practices in all activities.
  14. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  1. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Workflow may fluctuate, and work outside of a standard workweek may be required.

  • Prior experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to navigate computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit investigation, prior authorization support, and patient financial assistance connection.
  • Prior experience working with physicians, nurses, or other healthcare professionals.
