Sourcing Specialist, Indirect Sourcing
5+ Months W2 Contract
San Jose, CA (hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:

• Lead sourcing projects for indirect services from start to finish, ensuring cost savings and business value.
• Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to meet sourcing needs and build strong partnerships.
• Manage RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ) to support vendor selection and contract decisions.
• Collaborate with Legal to review contracts and reduce business risks.
• Track contract obligations and ensure suppliers meet expectations.
• Stay informed on market trends to guide sourcing strategies.
• Analyze data and report progress regularly to stakeholders.
• Suggest and drive process improvements to increase sourcing efficiency.
• Support internal teams by sharing sourcing knowledge and tools.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

• 2-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement in indirect services
• deep market knowledge of contracting trends, familiarity with fiscal planning cycles
• excellent emotional intelligence, growth mentality
• mastery of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• familiarity with BI reporting and spend analysis
• high attention to detail
• exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• ability to synthesize and present complex matters
• willingness to train and educate users
• effective workload management

Pay Range: 

$40.00 - $45.00/hour
