Technical Analyst: Hybrid in Vienna, VA. 

Join an innovative team where your technical expertise will directly impact product development and system enhancement initiatives. As a Technical Analyst, you'll bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product ownership to translate business needs into technical system requirements
• Leverage documentation and test applications/APIs to understand existing functionality for replatforming and enhancement opportunities
• Investigate enterprise and vendor APIs to determine data availability for system capabilities
• Map data between interfacing systems to ensure seamless integration
• Assist lead analysts in developing and prioritizing features and epics aligned with product delivery strategy
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos/reviews, and retrospectives
• Perform application and services testing to ensure quality
• Create comprehensive system requirement documentation including interface specifications
• Provide demonstrations to project teams and business stakeholders
• Work closely with Business, Quality Assurance and development teams on projects and production issues
• Excel in managing multiple priorities concurrently while meeting aggressive timelines
• Utilize system documentation, database information, application logs and scenario testing to determine root causes of system issues

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

• Services-Oriented Architecture / Microservices
• Multi-tier applications (presentation tier/services-processing tier/data management tier)
• Enterprise and vendor API integration
• Managing system behavior through configurable variables
• Error handling methodologies
• XML and JSON data structures

Qualifications:

• Ability to write effective SQL queries
• Proficiency with API access tools such as Postman and SoapUI
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience conducting complex technical analysis across multiple products
• Demonstrated experience in Agile methodology
• Experience writing detailed system requirements

Preferred Skills:

• Experience writing mobile and/or web application requirements
• Experience writing mobile service and/or web service requirements
