Consultant Position Summary

Mass Insight is seeking a Pennsylvania-based (Philadelphia preferred), part-time Consultant to join our team. This role requires 25 hours per week during the hours of 8 – 5pm ET beginning August 2025 – June 2026. There may be an opportunity for an extension beyond June 2026 if the contract is renewed and the scope remains.

This part-time Consultant will play a key role on the Mass Insight Pennsylvania team, partnering with school leaders, primarily, and at times with district leaders to assess, plan, implement and evaluate strategies to improve student achievement and school performance. Consultants provide specialized support for projects under the direction of a team leader and are responsible for implementation of major project elements. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

        Lead client facing meetings.

        Build the trust of client-partners to ​influence​ and inspire partner actions, leveraging relational vs. positional authority.

        Own an element(s) of a scope of work.

        Navigating​ nuances across stakeholders,​including managing own resources and time.

        Primary point of contact and lead for client-facing meetings,​​ ​​including design and facilitation of school leadership team meetings, 1:1 implementation meeting with school leaders, work sessions, professional development, school improvement planning​, and occasional, pre-planned on-site school visits.

        ​​​Operationalize a scope of work (e.g. take big goals and objectives and create a concrete plan).  

        Collaboration and coordination with internal team members and district partners, as needed.

        Collaborate with Directors/Managers to ensure ongoing communication, updates, and/or problem solving as needed.

        Documentation of support provided to schools.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS          

        Have at least ​​5​​ years of experience for those who have worked within or in partnership with K-12 schools​​​ or districts and responsible for coaching, consulting, and/or developing Principals, school leaders, or school leadership teams

        Pennsylvania-based

        Hold a bachelor's degree

        Have a willingness to travel ​on average 1-2 ​times ​per ​month to partner sites

        Data Specialist background

        Expertise in K-12 Math

        Philadelphia-based
