Orthopaedic Associates of Maine is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to join our dedicated Joints Department—a collaborative and fast-paced environment focused on helping patients regain mobility and quality of life.
š„ About the Role:
Under the guidance of the Senior Clinical Manager and in partnership with our expert team of Physicians, APPs, and surgical schedulers, you’ll lead daily clinical operations and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional joint care. This position blends hands-on patient care with leadership and administrative responsibilities.
You will oversee a talented team of Clinical Assistants, Medical Office Assistants, and Clinical Coordinators, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients undergoing joint replacement, arthritis care, and related services.
š Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily clinic workflows, staffing, and resource management
- Act as a clinical lead and liaison between providers and staff
- Provide RN-level care including medication administration, triage, and post-op wellness checks
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation, patient education, and follow-up care
- Support surgical readiness including labs, imaging, clearances, and patient coordination
- Participate in training, staff development, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with surgical schedulers, billing/pre-auth teams, and leadership
š§¾ Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current Maine licensure (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in orthopaedics or surgical care
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience
- BLS certification (Required)
- Strong knowledge of joint care workflows and musculoskeletal health
- Proficient in EHR systems and clinical documentation
- A calm, confident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
