Purpose of the Position

Are you a detail-driven leader with a passion for quality and continuous improvement? We’re seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our QA department - including a talented team of Quality Technicians and Auditors. This role is pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest standards and our team thrives in a safe, well-supported environment.

What You’ll Do

As the QA Supervisor, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of our quality team. Your leadership will guide performance, training, and coordination across departments to ensure excellence in every product we ship.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, mentor, and manage QA Technicians and Auditors
  • Conduct performance evaluations using both data and direct observation
  • Interview, hire, train, and onboard new team members
  • Assign tasks and schedule shifts based on production needs and priorities
  • Resolve internal and external quality-related concerns with professionalism and clarity
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Quality on staffing plans and workforce optimization

Training & Tools

  • Design and assess training programs for effectiveness
  • Ensure team members have the tools and resources needed to succeed
  • Coordinate with Engineering and other departments on special projects and rework

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a culture of safety through training and accountability
  • Identify and address workplace hazards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines technical know-how with people-first leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Math, or Science preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other third-party quality certifications

  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving finesse
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Fast-paced, multitasking environment across office and plant settings
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), walking, standing, and use of hands
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and depth perception
  • Professional yet casual atmosphere
