Your Role

As a Pediatric Dentist, you’ll deliver a full scope of pediatric dental services — from preventive and restorative care to interceptive orthodontics — while creating positive dental experiences for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents.

  • Deliver behavior management techniques that build trust and reduce anxiety.

  • Perform preventive treatments, restorative care, pulp therapy, extractions, and minor surgical procedures.

  • Collaborate with orthodontic and periodontal teams on interdisciplinary cases.

  • Educate parents and caregivers on oral health, hygiene, and preventive strategies.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.


Qualifications

Required

  • U.S.-trained Pediatric Dentist with DDS/DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school.

  • Completion of an ADA-accredited pediatric dentistry residency program.

  • Current (or eligible) Virginia dental license.

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry.

  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills with children and parents.

Preferred

  • Hospital dentistry or sedation certification/experience.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages).

  • Experience in a multi-specialty or high-volume practice.
