About the Role

Required Qualifications and Skills

We're looking for a highly motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented designer who thrives in our fast-paced, collaborative environment. Our teams span the East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast, united by our commitment to discovering and delivering exceptional customer experiences through iterative design. You should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design or related fields

  • 5+ years collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, content and user research

  • Proven success shipping products across platforms and regions while mentoring others through the process

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Appreciation for all design disciplines—interaction, visual, content, motion, and research—and how they harmonize

  • Expert proficiency with industry-standard tools including Figma, Miro, usertesting.com, and Dovetail

  • Compelling portfolio showcasing diverse projects that demonstrate your design process and problem-solving approach

  • Strong systems thinking with experience defining patterns, creating style guides, conducting user testing, and building prototypes

  • Solid understanding of software development principles and effective developer collaboration

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Service Design and Service Mapping methodologies

  • Track record of setting platform strategies, envisioning complex interactions, and inspiring teams to innovate

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences at all organizational levels

  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in consumer lending
