🚀 We’re Hiring: Control Engineer II – MMT, Inc - St. George, UT

🔧 What you’ll do:

·        Develop, test, and deploy PLC/IPC control code across multiple platforms (CODESYS, Windows-based IPCs).

·        Define and maintain programming standards, libraries, and version control practices.

·        Deliver custom software solutions for customer applications, supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization.

·        Integrate machine electrical components, sensors, vision/inspection systems, and motion controls.

·        Collaborate with mechanical design teams using SolidWorks and SolidWorks Electrical.

·        Play a key role in supporting new mergers, acquisitions, and technology transfers by helping capture knowledge, streamline processes, and ensure smooth integration.

·        Draft functional specs, risk assessments, test plans, and training materials.

 

🎓 You bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Controls, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on controls experience in industrial automation.
Strong PLC programming skills; fluent with CODESYS and IPCs.
Knowledge of machine electrical components, controls integration, and vision/inspection systems.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to design quality.
Bonus points for: laser systems exposure, Python experience, or robot programming.
