Full-Time Remote Change Management Specialist
Our client is seeking a dedicated Change Management Specialist to ensure standardized methods and procedures are used during the planning, approval, and implementation of IT changes. This role will control risk, minimize service disruption, and provide quality service to members and staff. The specialist will provide oversight for change management in project and maintenance implementations, and serve as a dedicated change manager for select projects and changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Working knowledge of change, configuration and release management processes, systems, and industry best practices
- Experience automating changes and integrating automation systems/tools with change processes
- Experience working in change management within an enterprise IT organization, preferably in a large financial institution
- Experience working with IT engineering and software teams using methodologies such as DevOps, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
- Application development experience demonstrating thorough knowledge of the systems development life cycle
- Proven ability managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment
Required Skills:
- Effective research, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong project management skills including establishing/leading teams, managing timelines/resources, and ensuring successful implementation
- Experience in leading, guiding and mentoring others
- Ability to build effective working relationships across all organizational levels
