Role Overview
Multi-Site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA, with frequent travel to McDonough, GA plant (under construction)
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our safety and compliance programs across our corporate headquarters and commercial manufacturing facility in Atlanta, GA and our expanding manufacturing facility in McDonough, GA. This is a highly visible role that ensures we maintain the highest standards of workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship while supporting our mission of operational excellence and growth.
The EHS Manager will be responsible for building, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of EHS strategy, policies, and programs, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.). This leader will partner closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to foster a proactive, safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
· Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local safety and environmental regulations.
· Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans.
· Conduct and oversee EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
· Collaborate with plant leadership to design safe processes, emergency response plans, and risk assessments for manufacturing operations.
· Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, driving continuous improvement.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, inspections, and audits.
· Support the safe build-out and startup of the McDonough facility, ensuring compliance from construction through full operations.
· Lead PSM process at the expanding manufacturing facility in McDonough GA
· Champion a culture of accountability, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, environmental sciences, engineering, or related field (master’s preferred).
· 10+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environments.
· 1+ years of PSM experience
· Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
Additional Skills
· Experience leading EHS programs in multi-site operations is highly desirable, with experience in chemical manufacturing operations a strong plus
· Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and build trust with employees at all levels.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· CSP, CIH, or other relevant certifications a plus.
