The Senior Natural Gas Scheduler will be responsible for working with a team of traders and schedulers to timely and accurately nominate on the pipeline Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBB) in support of natural gas business activities. This role sits within the front office trading environment and requires coordination of natural gas transportation and delivery between suppliers, pipelines, and end users. Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Operations:
- Coordinate the daily product movement for BKV Marketing equity gas, purchases, sales, transportation, and storage on both interstate and intrastate pipelines via electronic bulletin boards while ensuring contract obligations and regulatory requirements are met.
- Schedule accurate nominations meeting all deadlines throughout the day.
- Monitor and report pipeline operational information, providing short-term opportunities to trading due to pipeline constraints and operations.
Trading Support:
- Report on physical pipeline positions for BKV Marketing.
- Collaborate with traders, analysts, and other stakeholders to develop and execute natural gas scheduling strategies that align with our trading objectives.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Strict compliance with FERC Shipper Must Hold Title, Dodd Frank Bookout requirements, and understanding of the buy/sell capacity release rules.
- Know and understand of the various balancing mechanisms in use across North America regarding imbalance tolerances and the financial cash out risks for shippers and traders.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3 or more years of natural gas scheduling experience
- Experience in scheduling North Texas, East Texas, and USGC pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with industry-specific scheduling and ETRM software (like Allegro, Endur, and Quorum).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS
- Office Location/Schedule: Houston, TX & Hybrid work from home and in office.
- On-Call Requirements: The nature of the gas business is dynamic, with multiple nomination deadlines and can require evening, weekend, and holiday work as well as on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A rotation schedule is anticipated for weekend coverage.
- Critical Deadlines: Multiple daily nomination cycles, including Timely (1:00 PM), Intraday cycles, and Evening (6:00 PM)
