Job Summary:

The Sterile Compounding Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers and facilities in need of sterile compounded medications. This role requires strong sales skills, knowledge of sterile compounding processes, and the ability to navigate the healthcare landscape, including compliance and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory (e.g., Physician clinics and Medical Spas).
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.
    • Develop a strategic sales plan tailored to each customer segment.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (Physicians, Nurses, Practice Managers, ect.).
    • Conduct product presentations and educate clients on the benefits of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
    • Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to leadership.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Awareness:
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of USP <797> and <800> standards, FDA guidance, and state pharmacy board regulations.
    • Ensure all sales practices comply with company policies and applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with pharmacy operations, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless onboarding.
    • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to build brand awareness and network with potential clients.

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 1-3 years of successful sales experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
    • Familiarity with sterile and non-sterile compounding, pharmacy operations, physician clinics, or hospitals is preferred.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organizational abilities.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
