Job summary 

The Corporate Tax Manager will lead all aspects of domestic and international tax compliance, planning, and strategy. This role also includes direct involvement in operational aspects of the family’s wealth-related tax matters, including trusts, estates, and intergenerational planning. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to risk management and optimization. 

Key Responsibilities 

Corporate Tax Management 

  • Oversee preparation and filing of federal, state, and international tax returns for corporate entities. 

  • Manage transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with global tax regulations. 

  • Lead tax planning initiatives to optimize the company’s effective tax rate and cash flow. 

  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impact on business operations. 

  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors during annual filings and audits. 

  • Maintain and improve internal controls over tax reporting and compliance. 

Strategic Tax Planning 

  • Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for new markets, acquisitions, and joint ventures. 

  • Advise senior leadership on tax implications of strategic decisions. 

  • Support treasury and finance teams in cross-border cash repatriation and financing strategies. 

Family Wealth & Estate Tax Management 

  • Collaborate with family office and legal advisors to manage tax aspects of trusts, estates, and philanthropic entities. 

  • Provide inputs on generational wealth transfer strategies, including gift and estate tax planning. 

  • Oversee tax compliance for family-owned investment vehicles and partnerships. 

  • Assist in implementing family investments to align with long-term tax efficiency and asset protection goals. 

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive family financial matters. 

Key Qualifications 

  • CPA or Masters with specialization in taxation. 

  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive tax experience, including corporate and high-net-worth individual taxation. 

  • Experience with international tax and transfer pricing regulations. 

  • Familiarity with estate planning, trust taxation, and family office operations. 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

$150,000.00   None to $180,000.00   None
