ABOUT THE ROLE
ExoAnalytic Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) integration to support our programs in space and missile defense. This role focuses on integrating digital twin environments with hardware systems to evaluate and validate performance in real-time.
You will work hands-on with simulation software, embedded systems, and test infrastructure to ensure that hardware and software operate seamlessly together under mission conditions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Integrate digital twin and simulation software with HWIL test environments
- Develop real-time interfaces, device drivers, and data acquisition tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software integration challenges
- Collaborate with software, test, and systems engineers to ensure test fidelity
- Support validation of performance across multiple hardware platforms
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience with real-time or embedded software development (C/C++ preferred)
- Understanding of hardware interfaces, sensors, or test systems
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD practices
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
- Experience integrating HWIL systems or developing embedded real-time applications
- Familiarity with RTOS environments (e.g., VxWorks, RTEMS)
- Experience with digital twins or real-time simulation environments
SALARY RANGE
$85,000 - $165,000 annually.
Actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and years of experience.
