    Salary Range: $27.31 – $43.69/hour

    We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant II to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering accurate and timely financial information. 

     Position Summary 

    The Staff Accountant II assists in the preparation of financial reporting according to established procedures and performs other work related to the Accounting function. This includes record keeping, filing, and system input per internal control policy. The role supports Finance Leadership in providing accurate and timely financial information to the organization and completes reporting to government agencies and external auditors. Coordination with accounts payable and other accounting staff is essential. 

     Key Responsibilities 

    • Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, prepare and post journal entries, and conduct account analyses. 

    • Contribute to the production of internal financial reports and support the annual financial statement audit. 

    • Maintain and control assigned accounting records. 

    • Prepare ad hoc reports including revenue/expense and pro-forma analyses. 

    • Participate in financial statement close meetings. 

    • Perform other duties as assigned. 

     Required Competencies 

    • Strong understanding of accounting and finance practices and large accounting systems. 

    • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry (preferred). 

    • Ability to plan and coordinate projects, meet objectives, budgets, and deadlines. 

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

    • Ability to work independently in a multi-tasking environment. 

    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 

    • Attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong communication skills. 

     Qualifications 

    Education: 

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 

    Experience: 

    • 1 to 3 years of experience in financial records and analysis. 

    Other: 

    • Healthcare experience is preferred.

     Working Conditions 

    • Physical activities include sitting (70%), standing (15%), walking (15%). 
    • Work hours may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Required Skills

    - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
    - One (1) to three (3) years’ work experience in financial records and analysis
