Power Platform Developer / Business Process Manager
12+ Month W2 Contract
San Jose, CA (Hybrid)Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
- Build or enhance tools to automate product launch process steps.
- Collaborate with Pricing Operations team, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions to streamline product launches.
- Prioritize activities based on customer impact, business needs, project dependencies, and overall strategy.
- Lead the design and development of Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with the organization's target architecture and technical standards.
- Conduct thorough unit testing to validate functionality & reliability, and create clear, comprehensive documentation to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business goals and technical requirements.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
- 5+ years of experience in application development.
- Excellent Power Platform and SQL development skills, with a particular emphasis on Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint.
- Experience connecting Power Platform solutions with Azure services, APIs, or external systems.
- Understanding of role-based security, data protection, and compliance within Power Platform.
- Demonstrated ability to apply design thinking principles to build efficient, scalable solutions that prioritize usability and intuitive workflows.
- Skilled in creating user interfaces that are visually appealing and easy to navigate, ensuring a seamless experience for end users.
- Experience leveraging feedback and analytics to continuously improve solution design and user satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills to research and identify issues, root cause, and proposed resolution.
- Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
- Proven confidence and flexibility in dynamic environments with ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Approach work with positive energy, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Working knowledge of standard software applications (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Acrobat, Outlook).
- Experience with Dataverse, data models, and embedding Power BI within Power Apps is preferred.
- Other nice to have skills include experience with Atlassian Confluence Wiki, automation processes, VBA, Jira, SAP.
Pay Range:
$80.00 - $91.54/hour
