What You'll Do
- Lead the analysis of manufacturing costs, providing valuable insights that drive strategic business decisions
- Develop and deliver compelling monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports that inform management strategy
- Perform critical cost roll-ups and standard cost updates in our ERP system, ensuring data integrity
- Review and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings, identifying opportunities for cost optimization
- Investigate cost variances with precision, delivering actionable recommendations that improve profitability
- Maintain our fixed asset subledger with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate recording of all asset activities
- Conduct thorough monthly reconciliations of fixed asset accounts in compliance with GAAP
- Calculate and record depreciation expenses with accuracy and timeliness
- Lead periodic asset audits to verify physical existence and condition of company assets
- Monitor budget versus actual expenses, identifying opportunities for improved cost allocation and efficiency
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience that demonstrates your financial acumen
- 1-3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics manufacturing experience is a plus)
- Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Solid understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, and fixed asset management
- Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities that enable effective cross-functional collaboration
Your Work Environment
- 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off
- Hybrid arrangement: 4 days in office, 1 day working from home
