Verde Ranch RV Resort, a premier destination under CRR Hospitality, is seeking a dynamic and creative Activities Supervisor to lead all guest engagement initiatives and special event programming on property. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all recreational activities, booking live entertainment, managing private events (weddings, reunions, birthdays, etc.), and driving event sales through active prospecting and community outreach.  Our resort that features 389 RV Sites, fully furnished rental cabins, Conestoga Wagons, and so much more!  With best-in-class amenities, activities for the entire family, beautiful views of the mountains, it’s no wonder this luxury RV Resort was Voted #1 Top RV Campground, #1 Top Large Campground by Campspot. 

This is a hands-on, guest-facing role that blends event coordination, hospitality management, and sales. Position Summary:  The Activities Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, promoting, publicizing, and facilitating resort activities and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Activities & Entertainment:

  • Develop and execute a dynamic calendar of guest activities, including themed weekends, games, crafts, holiday celebrations, and more.
  • Book and manage live entertainment (bands, DJs, comedians, performers) for resort-hosted events.
  • Promote activities and entertainment through resort channels and direct guest communication.
  • Manage event set-up, breakdown, and ensure top-tier guest satisfaction during all activities.

 

Private Events & Venue Sales:

  • Book and coordinate private on-site events including weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, and corporate gatherings.
  • Manage all aspects of event execution from initial inquiry to day-of logistics, including vendor coordination, staffing, and follow-up.
  • Maintain relationships with local vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, rental companies).

 

Sales & Community Outreach:

  • Prospect for new event business by conducting outside sales calls and attending community networking events.
  • Build relationships with local organizations, event planners, and tourism partners to drive bookings.
  • Track leads, bookings, and revenue in CRM systems and prepare regular sales reports.

 

Social Media & Guest Communication:

  • Promote upcoming events and activities on the resort’s social media platforms 
  • Create engaging content, including photos, videos, and stories, to showcase guest experiences and increase visibility.
  • Respond to guest inquiries related to events and activities in a timely and professional manner, both online and onsite.
  • Create email marketing campaigns to promote events, activities and the resort lifestyle
  • Collaborate with the CRR Hospitality marketing team to align messaging and branding across platforms.

  Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or resort guest services (RV resort or hotel/resort experience a plus).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with public speaking and guest engagement.
  • Proven ability to sell, negotiate, and close event bookings.
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays based on event schedules.
  • Proficient in content creation software and social media managers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and event planning software (or willing to learn).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local outreach.
