Description:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing various types of projects within our client's HR department. This role requires a strong foundation in various project management methodologies to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with HR strategic goals. Individuals that have HR experience and/or experience leading Scrum/Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus. Specific HR experience with preboarding activities (after offer acceptance and before Day 1) would be a plus for this person, but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage HR projects from initiation to completion (this includes technology, business process, and/or operational projects).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and external vendors, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure effective communication among team members.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Knowledge of using ADO is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
