Title: Operations Manager

 

Location: Radnor, PA

Job Summary: The Operations Manager oversees closing and curative Title Services, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and loan terms while delivering an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities include reviewing data, fees, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.

As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:

  • Manage and oversee the entire closing team, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations and standards of excellence.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee's performance by auditing files to proactively identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise.
  • Manage staff to balance workloads and accomplish results through effective recruitment, selection, training, development, performance management, and recognition; hold direct reports accountable for developing staff competency in their areas of responsibility and meeting assigned goals and objectives.
  • Provide training and develop team members to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor SLA's and identify areas of strength/weakness to be addressed.
  • Assist with escalations by analyzing and assessing each issue to determine appropriate actions, gathering additional information as needed, and resolving matters promptly while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency.
  • Resolve complaints and requests promptly and professionally, escalating more complex matters to upper management in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and escalations to supervisor as needed and as requested.
  • Exceed levels of Customer Service delivery established by the Company and client.
  • Attend, plan, and participate in regular and ad hoc departmental meetings.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with lender customers, realtors, and all other applicable parties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  •       Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  •       5+ years’ experience in title services and/or closing services.
  •       Management/leadership experience strongly preferred.
  •       Familiarity with various loan programs, as well as compliance regulations.
  •       Prior experience working with title service systems preferred.
  •       Knowledge of industry guidelines and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
  •       Solid leadership capabilities with the ability to organize, build teams, influence, and develop others.
  •       High-level customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to handle complex and sensitive situations.  
  •       Ability to interact professionally with all levels within and outside of the organization.
  •       Excellent organizational, technical and relationship skills.
  •       Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
  •       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •       Analytical skills, detail oriented and highly organized.
  •       Ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and must be a team player.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
