24 Month W2 Contract

This is a hybrid role requiring both technical ownership and hands-on campaign execution. You will be responsible for the transition between two campaign management platforms, including the adoption and integration of Adobe Journey Optimizer, and drive the successful launch of global digital campaigns. You will act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth workflows and successful delivery of global campaigns while also building subject matter expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer.
This role requires technical fluency and the ability to manage complex system transitions while delivering high-quality marketing experiences. You'll work at the intersection of marketing, engineering, product, and operations, making this a critical role for scaling global initiatives.Must be in the Bay Area and meet hybrid office requirements of 1-2 days per week in office.
Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:
- Own and manage the migration between two bespoke campaign management systems, including onboarding and operationalizing Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Maintain technical integrity of campaign workflows, including JIRA processes, Kanban/Agile boards, and Confluence documentation.
- Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of web technologies (DNS, cookies, CDNs) and browser debugging tools.
- Schedule campaign launches in internal systems and be the final round of QA to ensure all components of webpages are managed, including promotional activity, localized content, and dynamic elements.
- Plan, execute, and monitor digital campaigns across global markets.
- Partner with Web Production, Product Engineering, Product Management, Data Engineering, and Design teams to deliver localized experiences.
- Scale live tests and experiences to full worldwide launches to drive critical business KPIs.
- Maintain long-term program roadmaps and launch calendars so team members have visibility into experience tests, global market expansions, and execution blockers.
- Lead stand-ups and cross-functional meetings across time zones.
- Drive alignment, clear roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns while escalating to leadership as needed.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for campaigns, including roadmaps, launch communications, and Customer Care briefings.
- Provide reporting and insights to leadership and stakeholders.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7 years in digital marketing, campaign management, or similar roles within SaaS or tech-centric environments. Tech start-up experience a plus.
- Proficiency in JIRA (ticket creation, Kanban/Agile boards, dashboards) and Confluence (content authoring with macros).
- Basic understanding of Agile processes (e.g. sprint planning, story points, backlog grooming). You are comfortable communicating with program management resources on other teams to ensure alignment.
- Familiarity with using internal lightweight tools that are web-based (e.g. React).
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, especially Excel (e.g. filters, conditional formatting, VLOOKUPs). Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Loop, Power Apps, and Power BI a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer
- Code Literacy: Able to read, understand, and troubleshoot code in Python, Java, and JavaScript to diagnose issues, validate logic, and collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Light Scripting & Automation: Comfortable creating and modifying simple scripts (e.g., data transformations, file processing, API interactions) using Python/JavaScript.
- API Integration: Experience working with REST APIs (e.g., Atlassian Jira API) for data retrieval, updates, and workflow automation.
- AI-Assisted Development: Proficient in leveraging ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and similar AI coding tools to accelerate scripting, debugging, and automation tasks.
- Data Handling: Ability to work with JSON, CSV, and other common data formats for campaign operations and reporting workflows.
- Technical Problem Solving: Strong aptitude for debugging, log analysis, and partnering with engineering to resolve campaign and integration issues.
Pay Range:
$63.00 - $70.42/hour
