We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist Intern to join our team. This internship offers practical experience in quality assurance processes, overall program review methodologies, and the standard for conducting stakeholder interviews to gain insights to program level risks. The intern will play a vital role in ensuring our products and services adhere to the highest quality and reliability standards. Responsibilities will include participating in multiple meetings each week, such as project discussions, status meetings and Quality Assessment interview sessions, while also assisting in the creation and presentation of reports as time allows. The role requires a professional committed to teamwork and success by embracing and living our core values of Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability and Prudence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively participate in meetings to capture potential risks and issues early, enabling proactive mitigation strategies
- Engage with project team members to gather diverse perspectives and ensure a well-rounded assessment of project standards
- Assist in the scheduling and monitoring of interview sessions with key stakeholders
- Detect common themes and risks across projects to recognize patterns and provide data-driven insights for continuous process improvements
- Formulate actionable recommendations to reduce or eliminate risks, strengthening project outcomes through preventative measures
- Collaborate with the team in writing quality assurance reports and summaries to assist in making educated, informed findings and recommendations that ensure the client can drive risk mitigation and resolution
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management to support overall project objectives and contribute to a dynamic team environment

FINAL PRESENTATION REQUIREMENT: As part of the completion of your internship at MCP, you are required to submit a final presentation on one of the major projects you worked on. This presentation should highlight your role, key contributions, challenges you faced, and the overall impact. This should showcase your technical skills as well as your ability to solve problems while demonstrating how your work contributed to the project’s success.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program
- Strong analytical, active listening, and comprehension skills
- Ability to transition seamlessly between meetings while capturing detailed, accurate notes
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Consistently demonstrates integrity and professionalism
- Experience with Microsoft Office, proficient in Word and Excel
- Familiarity with SmartSheet, Confluence, Teams, and Webex
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal, written, communication and documentation skills
- Computer software: Microsoft Office Suite, SmartSheets, Confluence, Teams, WebEx
- Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection to support virtual collaboration and video conferencing
