Greater Austin Allergy Asthma & Immunology, is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team!

Practitioners, either Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants, at Greater Austin Allergy Asthma & Immunology are client-focused individuals that pride themselves on being driven by well-founded clinical research and thorough patient education.  A commitment to providing high-quality care, through accurate diagnoses and effective treatments, while performing in a fast-paced environment, are essential skills for the Greater Austin Allergy Asthma & Immunology Provider.

With our group, you can expect to work with today’s leaders in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.  Supporting this team, you will find yourself analyzing and interpreting patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Our Practitioners are a great part of what makes us so successful in providing allergy sufferers with long-lasting relief!

Practitioner (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) Education and Experience Requirements:

·       Master’s Degree

·       At least one year of experience (required)

·       Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant License for State of Texas in good standing

·       Active DEA license in good standing

·       Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

·       Experience in diagnosing and treating acute health problems relative to allergy, asthma, and immunology issues (preferred)

·       Experience in ordering, performing, or interpreting results of diagnostic tests

·       Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel in assigned practice environment

·       Stay abreast of developments in allergy, asthma, and immunology field

·       Maintain basic knowledge of insurance and billing practices as related to patient care in clinic setting

 

Required Skills
