Join us—and be part of something that matters.The Director of Sales, Law Enforcement is a senior leader responsible for developing and executing the company’s law enforcement sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams, negotiating government contracts, and exceeding sales targets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with LED objectives and law enforcement dynamics.
- Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a results-driven sales team across federal, state, or local governments.
- Revenue Growth: Own and exceed the LED’s sales goals, including quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Performance Management: Set clear KPIs, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations to drive accountability.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Deliver accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to executive leadership.
- Customer & Market Insights: Monitor law enforcement market trends, agency feedback, and competitive activities to inform sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and the 3SI commercial sales team to ensure alignment and drive customer acquisition and retention.
- CRM & Tools Oversight: Ensure effective use of PipeDrive and sales enablement platforms to support pipeline management and decision-making.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead or oversee major contract negotiations and key account management
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience
- Strong experience navigating government contracts and procurement systems
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing multi-Federal, State or local sales opportunities
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and strategic thinker with strong business acumen
- Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems (e.g., PipeDrive)
Qualifications
- Experience in Government procurement system
- Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and strategic account management
- Experience scaling sales operations during periods of rapid growth
Additional Comments
- Position is based remotely
- Standard business hours for this role are Monday-Friday
- 30-40% of the time will require travel
Salary range: $125,000 - $175,000 annually
