We are seeking a Director, Human Resources (HR) Business Partner for a remote position. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required. This role will support our growing European operations and serve as the primary HR partner to the European Operational Leader. This role will play a key role in shaping the organizational structure, developing talent, ensuring compliance across multiple European countries, and driving people initiatives that enable high performance and strong team culture.Essential Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership
· Serve as the principal HR advisor to the European Operational Leader.
· Align regional HR priorities with global HR strategy through close partnership with the CHRO.
Organizational Design & Workforce Planning
· Lead organizational design efforts to optimize team structures and support business growth.
· Conduct workforce planning and capability assessments for regional and country-level needs.
Talent Management & Development
· Support talent acquisition strategy and identify capability gaps across Europe.
· Drive regional leadership development, succession planning, and internal movement.
Employee Relations & Compliance
· Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters across multiple European jurisdictions.
· Ensure compliance with country-specific employment laws and regulations.
· Lead partnership with Works Councils at respective units in Madrid and elsewhere.
HR Operations
· Oversee consistent execution of onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and other HR processes across Europe.
· Recommend process improvements that balance regional requirements with global consistency.
Performance & Coaching
· Coach leaders on feedback, performance conversations, goal setting, and employee development.
· Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Change Management
· Lead HR components of organizational changes, restructures, and operational shifts.
· Develop communication and engagement strategies tailored to European teams.
Data & Insights
· Analyze HR data to identify trends and prepare insights for the CHRO and European leadership.
· Support data-driven decision-making through workforce analytics.
Team Leadership
· May supervise regionally based HR staff depending on experience and organizational needs.
· Build a strong, service-oriented HR capability within the region.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- 8+ years of HR experience, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner supporting leaders in a multinational environment.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational design and workforce planning.
- Experience operating across multiple European countries.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both required).
- Strong knowledge of European employment laws.
- Ability to build relationships and influence senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and HRIS skills.
- Exceptional communication, cross-cultural, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Background in life sciences, healthcare, clinical operations, or related industries.
