Agile Coach & SAFe Practitioner
About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to lead organizational transformation and drive excellence across our enterprise. In this role, you will mentor high-performing teams, facilitate large-scale Agile initiatives, and cultivate an Agile mindset throughout our organization. You'll work with senior leadership to implement best practices in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and oversee multiple high-performing Agile development teams and large-scale programs across the organization
- Teach, lead, and mentor cross-functional business groups to build, sustain, and strengthen Agile values, SAFe, and Scrum concepts and practices
- Provide hands-on coaching to Agile teams, including attending ceremonies and providing recommendations and feedback throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct and facilitate SAFe certified training sessions, workshops, and planning sessions while creating required documentation and materials
- Cultivate an Agile mindset by demonstrating and teaching the values of the Agile Manifesto and underlying technical principles and methods
- Train and coach peers with Azure DevOps and post/publish content using Adobe Experience Manager
- Communicate and influence senior executives in decisions critical to Agile adoption and implementation
- Track and monitor Agile project metrics, identifying potential problem areas and assisting teams in implementing solutions
- Identify and coach Agile evangelists across the organization to act as informal mentors and increase organizational maturity
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices for enhancing product execution
Required Qualifications
- SAFe SPC (Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant) - Agile Coaching certification
- 8+ years of experience and knowledge with Agile techniques, processes, and tools that enable rapid definition, design, build, test, and integration
- 5+ years of experience leading Agile initiatives with proven background in Lean Portfolio Management, software development lifecycle, and driving organizational transformation
- 5+ years of experience leading Agile training sessions, workshops, and creating required documentation and materials
- Extensive expertise with Agile frameworks including Scaled Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps
- Experience coaching, training, and building software development teams practicing Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and SAFe
- Strong emotional intelligence and organizational awareness with ability to challenge organizational norms and influence decisions without formal authority
- Comprehensive understanding of how Architecture, Design, Development, Test, Deployment, and Operations collectively integrate to achieve business objectives
- Prior experience working with senior executives and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence at executive levels
- Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills with strong active listening and collaboration abilities
- Experience with large-scale software delivery and/or Agile transformation at scale in large enterprise environments
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience conducting and facilitating SAFe certified training
- Experience with Product Management transformations
- Subject matter expertise in Azure DevOps training and coaching
- Experience posting and publishing content using Adobe Experience Manager
