About This Opportunity

Join our leadership team as a Regional Maintenance Director overseeing Class A multifamily communities. This is a strategic role that combines hands-on operational expertise with leadership development, offering the opportunity to shape maintenance excellence across a growing portfolio. You'll drive innovation in preventive maintenance, build and mentor high-performing teams, and manage significant capital improvement initiatives that directly impact resident satisfaction and property value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and optimize operations across nine Class A multifamily communities
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of capital improvement projects to enhance property value and resident experience
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs that reduce costs and extend asset life
  • Recruit, train, and develop on-site maintenance teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Partner collaboratively with property management and executive leadership to align maintenance operations with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Travel regularly to properties for inspections, training, and strategic oversight

Required Qualifications

  • EPA Certification (required)
  • CPO (Certified Property Operations) Certification (required)
  • Proven experience managing maintenance operations in multifamily communities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with team hiring, training, and development
  • Strong project management skills with experience overseeing capital improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPA Proctor Designation
  • Experience managing multiple properties or regional portfolios
  • Background in preventive maintenance program development
  • Knowledge of multifamily industry best practices and emerging technologies
