The Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and operational execution of mass print acquisition and cultivation programs. This role ensures print campaigns are well-planned, integrated across channels, executed efficiently with agency partners, and aligned with organizational priorities. This role will develop print cultivation and acquisition campaigns that maximize revenue and new donors based on projections. This role will develop and maintain a testing database for print campaigns and establish channel best practices for the Mission.
This position additionally plays a critical role in project management — planning trimester campaign execution across mass channels and cross-departmentally with other development teams. This role will establish project management excellence across the Mass Marketing function.
How you will serve
Print Strategy & Campaign Planning
- Lead mass cultivation and acquisition print strategy in partnership with the Senior Marketing Director.
- Own trimester campaign project management for all channels in the mass marketing department, and integrate coordination with other development teams.
- Partner with agencies to execute print acquisition and cultivation, and play a pivotal role in bringing print cultivation strategy and execution in-house
Project Management
- Serve as the primary project manager for trimester planning across mass team, managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate across channel owners on creative, copy, email, and digital media to ensure campaigns launch on time and with clarity.
- Manage print-related workflows, approvals, and vendor coordination
Operational and PR Support
- Field PR requests related to mass marketing initiatives.
- Field requests for mass marketing from across the organization and help assign tasks.
- Ensure field needs and timing are reflected in campaign planning.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Partner closely with other development teams and departments to support integrated campaigns
- Develop ongoing improvements to campaign processes, documentation, and project management
- Contribute to a scalable operating model for mass print cultivation
How you qualify
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- 2+ years of experience working in a non-profit and/or fundraising environment, highly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience developing and executing marketing, branding, fundraising, and/or communications.
- Experienced/high degree of expertise with MS office software required, and database management to drive specific targeting and marketing recommendations preferred.
- Experience in print marketing, campaign operations, or project management (nonprofit experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines
- Comfort working cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders and external partners
- Clear written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods in a temperature-controlled environment. Requires frequent use of computers, keyboarding, and talking on the telephone. Frequently uses good judgment to make decisions. Occasionally stand, balance, twist, bend, stoop, kneel and reach with hands/arms, lifts up to 20 pounds and walks using stairways to climb to multiple floors within the facility.
