Position Summary

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for ensuring customer product, replacement product and other shipments are processed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. The Shipping Coordinator communicates with Customer Service regarding customer and order issues as well as working with the operations team on stock and re-stock needs.  This work will be performed in a dynamic medical device environment requiring accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

As the Shipping Coordinator, this position is responsible for and has authority that includes:

• Prepares and ships orders based on order status, customer need date, inventory status, date, time of day, mode of transportation.
• Prepares routers, labels and finished goods kits for highly regulated medical devices.
• Works directly with customer service to ensure order status and priorities
• Provide inventory status and purchase requests for shipping and label supplies
• Direct and performs material movement, running of reports, documentation, shipping equipment maintenance, labeling
• Communicate shipping status to the organization as needed
• Prepare and ship rush express shipments as needed.
• Performs other work as assigned or needed in the operation group

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Excellent verbal communications skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Ability to work in a time sensitive environment
• Ability to follow detailed procedures provided.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with printing labels
• Experience with shipping software(s)

.Preferred Qualifications:

·       Medical device shipping and receiving experience

·       Medical device label printing experience
