Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Combo Structural Welder/Fitter to join our team in the Cade, La Area. This role requires experience in both structural fitting and welding, with the ability to read blueprints, fabricate, and assemble structural components to specification. Candidates must be safety-focused, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

· Fit and assemble structural steel components

· Perform welding using processes such as SMAW (stick), FCAW (flux core), and/or GMAW (MIG)

· Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and tolerances

· Operate hand tools, grinders, and cutting equipment

· Inspect welds for quality and compliance with codes

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

· Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3+ years of experience as a combo welder/fitter

· Proficient in structural welding and fitting techniques

· Ability to pass welding and fitting tests

· Strong blueprint reading and layout skills

· Knowledge of welding symbols and measurements

· Must have reliable transportation

· TWIC card preferred (if applicable)

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs

· Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces

· Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions

Preferred Experience:

· Shipyard, offshore, or industrial fabrication experience

· Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel

· Familiarity with rigging and crane signaling
