Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to
join our team. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field
logistics, routing and scheduling carriers, and generating all necessary paperwork and oversight
of hazardous material (Hazmat) documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong
communication and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Management:
● Coordinate the transportation of equipment, chemicals, and other materials to
and from our water treatment facilities.
● Ensure timely delivery of supplies to meet operational requirements.
● Maintain accurate records of field inventory levels and manage replenishment
orders as needed.
● Manage and dispatch any equipment rentals.
● Flexibility for on-call support
● Ensuring all third-party carriers adhere to company and site-specific safety
protocols
● Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.
2. Continuous Improvement:
● Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the
logistics department.
● Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
initiatives company-wide.
● Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as freight
costs, delivery timelines, and vendor accuracyQualifications:
● Associates degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related
field experience preferred.
● Proven experience in operations coordination, logistics management, or related roles
within the oil and gas industry.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Proficiency in Google Suite, ERP or inventory management, and other relevant software
applications.
● Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and best practices in the oilfield industry.
● Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
