 Position Summary: The Operations/Activities Manager will support all departments as needed at the RV Resort and obtain responsibility in the absence of the GM or AGM. This position will require thorough knowledge of Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, Activities and overall operations within the resort.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Delivers exceptional guest service by providing timely, knowledgeable responses in person and over the phone, while using upselling techniques to drive occupancy and revenue
  • Oversees resort operations in the absence of department leaders and supports all department heads in daily resort functions
  • Partners across Guest Services, Housekeeping, Laundry, and F&B to ensure consistent, high-quality guest experience and hospitality standards
  • Leads daily/weekly operations meetings with department heads to review performance, guest feedback, service recovery, and staffing needs
  • Monitors purchasing, inventory, accounts receivable/payable, and cash handling to ensure accurate financial and operational tracking
  • Ensures resort readiness, cleanliness, safety, and adherence to SOPs, including staff grooming and service standards
  • Coordinates communication across departments to support efficient operations and a positive team environment
  • Manages staff training, performance oversight, and overall team development in partnership with department leaders
  • Maintains operational efficiency while controlling costs and supporting revenue optimization
  • Plans and executes a full calendar of guest activities, themed events, holidays, and entertainment programming
  • Books and manages entertainment vendors including bands, DJs, and performers; oversees event setup and execution
  • Sells and coordinates private events (weddings, parties, corporate gatherings) from inquiry through completion
  • Builds and maintains vendor relationships for event support services (catering, décor, photography, rentals, etc.)
  • Drives event sales through outreach, networking, partnerships, and CRM tracking/reporting
  • Promotes resort events and experiences through social media, email marketing, and guest communications
  • Creates engaging content showcasing resort lifestyle and responds to guest inquiries across platforms
  • Collaborates with marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging
  • 3+ years’ experience in hospitality, events, or resort operations preferred
  • Strong organization, communication, and guest engagement skills
  • Proven ability to sell and manage event bookings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media tools, and event planning systems
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to support local outreach efforts
