Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1
You will help the team build and test small mechanical and electromechanical components, delivering precise assemblies that support manufacturing operations. You will work onsite on the 1st shift (M–F, 5:00am–1:30pm), reporting to production leads and collaborating with quality and process teams to meet schedule and safety expectations.
Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components following the organization's instructions and procedures
- Review shop traveler route cards or simple schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operations
- Position very small parts (ceramic board, crystals, fine pins, solder particles, etc.) under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
- Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
- Bond or seal parts or assemblies with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens and perform in-process testing
- Demonstrate and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; be available for occasional nights, weekends, variable schedules, or additional hours as necessary
- Complete other assigned production responsibilities as needed
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and interpret uncomplicated schematic drawings
- Basic computer skills and basic reading ability
- Clean record required for ATF-related clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
- Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
- Basic math skills and ability to follow safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range
