We are currently looking for a skilled aluminum fabricator for the Amelia, LA and surrounding area. This is not an entry-level position, and candidate should have a solid understanding of some of the following:

MUST HAVE 3 YEARS VERIFIABLE WORK EXPERIENCE WITH ALUMINUM

• Must be able to pass USCG welding test
• Must have experience with MIG aluminum welding
• Must be able to stitch weld proficiently
• Must be able to weld in any position (uphill, horizontal, overhead, pipe, or flat)
• Must be able to read and understand blueprint drawings.
• Required Skills:
  • Excellent math skills with ability to efficiently read a tape measure
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate consistency in quality of work
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
• Efficient in using tools such as jacks, pry bars, hammers, saws, welding equipment or torches, and files or grinders to fit the parts exactly.
• May use metal fabricating machines in their work, including metal brakes, to bend sheet metal to a specific angle, use rolls that flatten sheet metal, shears or flame cutters to cut sheet metal or drill presses to drill holes at specific locations.
• Must be able to lay out materials.
• Assists in maintaining all equipment and tools used in their trade
• Performs general housekeeping and maintenance duties
• Pay: Depends on Experience
• Duraiton: Long term
