Job Title: Skilled Laborer / Saw Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Laborer / Saw Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating various saws and equipment to cut materials to precise specifications, while also supporting general labor duties on job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hand-held and stationary saws (band saws, circular saws, chop saws, etc.) safely and efficiently
• Measure, mark, and cut materials according to specifications and blueprints
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment
• Assist with general labor tasks including loading/unloading materials, site cleanup, and equipment setup
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a skilled laborer or saw operator preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements
• Proficiency with measuring tools (tape measure, square, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in construction, fabrication, or industrial environments
• Familiarity with different types of materials (wood, metal, plastic, etc.)
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor job sites depending on project needs
• Exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying weather conditions
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
