Become a Key Player as a Machine Operator
You will help the team produce high-quality machined components by operating and maintaining manual machinery and following established processes. Your work directly impacts product quality, safety, and on-time delivery for the manufacturing team. This is an onsite role on 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform repetitive machine operations such as cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, reaming and smoothing parts
- Align and fasten parts using standard fixtures and established methods
- Visually inspect parts for burrs, damage, and conformance to specifications using gauges and measuring instruments
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks, cracks, or other irregularities from machined parts
- Accurately and regularly perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) requirements
- Read analog and digital measurement tools (MICS/COMPArators/Profilometer)
- Observe safety rules and maintain a clean, orderly work area
- Perform related responsibilities and rework parts as needed
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years of general or related machine shop experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities
- Manual machining experience and demonstrated manual dexterity
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics
- Effective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
