Become a Key Player as a Mechanical Engineer II
You will design, test, and support mechanical equipment and systems that enable the organization’s engineering projects. Your work advances medium-complexity projects, supports senior engineers, and delivers technical outcomes to peers, other engineering groups, and customers. This is an onsite role working at the client site.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Design mechanical equipment, systems, and processes and perform suitability calculations and analyses
- Solve assembly, repair, and test problems for environmental control systems
- Support and execute hands-on testing and hardware activities
- Prepare reports and present designs to peers, engineers, and customers
- Provide direction or guidance to junior engineers, designers, and drafters as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to integrate designs and testing
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.M.E.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university
- Two to five years of experience in design, analysis, and development of industrial equipment
- Hands-on test and hardware experience (required)
- Knowledge of applied thermodynamics and mechanical design
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to deliver effective presentations to customers
- U.S. citizenship (required)

- Defense or aerospace industry experience
- Experience in development of thermal systems
- Familiarity with electrical circuits and control theory
- Knowledge of drawing and drafting standards
- Understanding of military, environmental, and test specifications
Pay Range
$40.01 - $64.90/hour
