Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1
You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly to help deliver high-quality small parts and components. You will work onsite on the 1st shift (M–F, 5:00am–1:30pm), collaborating with production leads and quality teams to meet schedule and safety expectations. Your work supports downstream manufacturing and testing activities and helps maintain production throughput and product reliability.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform routine assembly of small mechanical and electromechanical parts per instructions and procedures
- Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm correct operation sequence
- Position very small components under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
- Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
- Bond or seal parts/assemblies with epoxies and use heating elements or ovens for curing
- Conduct in-process testing and demonstrate adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; accommodate variable schedules, nights, weekends, and additional hours as needed
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 1–2 years of assembler experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop travelers, and basic schematic drawings
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
- Basic math skills and ability to follow safety and operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or apprenticeship experience is a plus
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
