Become a Key Player as a 4/10 Production Assembler 1
You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly work that keeps production moving and meets quality and safety standards. You will impact the production team and downstream assembly/test operations by following documented procedures and maintaining consistent attendance. This is an onsite role working a 4/10 schedule (Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components per instructions and procedures
- Review shop traveler/route card or simple schematic drawings to confirm sequence of operations
- Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
- Adjust, bend, align and solder fine wires to resistors and parts; bond or seal assemblies with epoxy and cure using heaters/ovens
- Perform in-process testing and follow safety policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; may need to work nights, weekends, or additional hours as necessary
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 6 months to 2 years of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and understand English and follow process instructions
- Effective communication skills and willingness to learn
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or apprenticeship experience helpful
- Good mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
- Basic math skills and ability to read/interpret company documents, safety rules, and manufacturing instructions
